I've looked for this several times as I'm doing my Insanity play through and I keep coming up with people explaining that the War Assets effect your readiness and dialouge/scenes are slightly different (even though in the end Anderson says everyone is destroyed anyone, big surprise).

But my question is, Will having particular war assests (or a higher number) have any effect on my game play? (Will a higher score make the final mission easier?)
