Even if the Geth somehow made it through without the Reaper upgrades it makes Legion's sacrifice pointless.  Yay, they got to be individuals for what, a few days?

I find this more likely as well

They are going to have to if they want to salvage their fanbase. Michael Gamble has also said on Twitter that the relays are just "disabled". Thats the official quote.

Yes I know....if you read through the first two pages, you will see that they deleted it a few minutes after I created the thread.....the first person to post on the thread is the actual Twitter user that posed the question about EDI....what was said on Twitter is directly quoted on the first 2 pages of my thread

I've heard, and by this stage I'm pressuming so have you, that EDI can survive the Destroy ending, but searches of Youtube keep on turning up blanks. That's strange for something that should be quite big, as it straight up shows the Catalyst wasn't accurate.

I've come to the realisation that she can't actually survive it, it's just hearsay with no proof. If someone can prove she does, by posting a video, please do I REALLY want to see it and I will edit the thread accordingly, but until then:

No don't believe the rumours, she can't survive.

So that helps my point, that she can't survive it. All it shows is whoever it was from the Mass Effect twitter quickly realised their mistake and removed it to avoid further confusion.

Could you provide evidence for this? Or even better a video showing her survive?

What I'd like to know is how the space magic that kills synthetics differentiates between the higher-eveolved EDI and the main computer system of the Normandy.

I mean, as good as Joker may be, if the computer system is gone, the fly-by-wire system that is the Normandy fails and he's flying a rock.

So, if he landed, he had a working computer system. But, software is software.. so... ?

EDI had a backup file, see the Reapers are super advanced and think "Why would we need a backup from active memory." Humans however built EDI and humans know that it is wise to save your work often. EDI likely autosaves every few minutes or major events to disk.

People this is all great but could we please use this thread soley to find proof of EDI surviving the destroy ending and not to discuss the endings in general?

Proves your point about what? Who knows why they deleted it....BIOWARE WONT EVEN DISCUSS THE GAME.....

Look man I don't have to prove anything and I have no reason to lie....EDI walked out of the Normandy onto stupid Gilligans planet....after I chose "Destroy".....

And I'm not the only person to witness it....I don't have a Twitter account....I saw someone on Twitter talking about the same ending I experienced....I saw plenty of people I'm this forum that have seen it....I don't have a computer or camcorder to upload any sort of video evidence for you.....I'm just as confused by it as everybody else....I don't care if you take my word for it....

Yeah if the destroy ending meant to kill all synthetic life as Star-dick said then EDI should be dead too. If it only kills Reaper code... well, EDI's dead again because she has Reaper code integrated into her root programming.
