I thought the same. I think Sten was an idea from Minsc, although there are obvious differences.

I've been wondering if it was the same voice actor that did both. Now - wait before you pounce on me... Take away the french accent and add a little "heya, it's me" emphasis... and some of Leli's dialogue (particularly when she emphasizes certain words) sounds a LOT like some of Immie's...

Red-haired female rogues seem to be a fixture in Bioware fantasy rpg's.
Consider not only Lelianna and Imoen, but also Neeshka. I thought Neeshka was a dead ringer for Imoen; she was basically Imoen with a tail.

Funnily Mission Vao reminds me more of Imoen than either Neeshka or Leliana, well apart from being blue and all.

The Immy mod is REALLY well done. If you do a playthru of BG2 anytime in the future - it's a definite must have. Immy wiping out the guitar made me laugh, though - especially the "I had no idea you could do that" dialogue for the PC. And her reasoning why you didn't know was really cool, too.

I was totally reminded of Imoen when I met Leliana the first time too!
They should have totally shoehorned the "Heya! It's me..." line somewhere in her dialogue, as an easter egg.
