Leliana definately has an imoen vibe.

Though I put sten somewhere between Minsc & Sarevok, certainly shades there.
Does explain why both are my favorites

Leliana does have some Imoen in her. And Morrigan feels like some sort of a mix between Jaheira and Viconia.

gotta say no to this. we were lucky imoen ever stayed in the BG franchise at all. she was a late addition as a companion in bg1 to provide, i believe the quote was "a non-psychotic thief". she was originally planned as killed by irenicus in bg2 (and thus why virtually no banter post-rescue).



unless leli had as hard a time staying alive as imoen, i can't even get to any superficial similarities like hair color.

I thought the same.  I think Sten was an idea from Minsc, although there are obvious differences.

If that's the case where's Boo?

Yep, just got done clicking on her a bunch. Was hoping for some Edwin sounding lines, but none really.

As for Imoen, yep Leliana reminds me A LOT of her. At least in terms of appearance and the fact she's a rogue. At least her bard aspect isn't that kobold from NWN lol.

I miss Minsc and Boo, and the kobold too. Drat! What was his name? I thought he was hysterical. Sten's not a douche, he's just very single-minded and serious. I love it, though, when you have Leliana and Sten in your party at the same time. The banter is priceless.



While I see the similarities between Leliana and Imoen, Leliana seems more capable, more stable. Of course, given what was done to Imoen, a more stable personality is perfectly reasonable. But, they both have a certain sweetness and an odd innocence that are endearing.

Sten an idea from Minsc? Well, they use the same battle style but their characters are about as polarly opposite as they come.

The only simmilarities I see in Imoen and Leliana are that they both annoy me. But the way they annoy me is not simmilar... Imoen is whiney beyond belief... not to mention crazy. And Leliana is just sooo... something... I'm not even sure WHY she bugs me. Though it might have something to do with that blind faith in the maker she has... and that crazy dream/vision thi-...

Oh wait... they're both crazy!

Nope, not the same voice actress either. The only Bio series on Melissa Disney's credits in Baldur's Gate.

And sorry, but other than the "cute redhead" thing...and let's be honest, female rogues and red hair go together (red=feisty to many people)...there's not much real similarity between the two.

I think her appearance is very similar to Imoen's in BG2--her hair is almost identical with that single braid. In fact, she looks more like BG2 Imoen than BG1 Imoen does. Not so much personality, and certainly not voice. BG1 Imoen sounded like an eight-year-old.
