I believe this was suppose to activate after I visit Merrill's home after completing the Mirror Image quest. It never did. I have completed every quest in Act 2 now and nothing else is available except for the final Demand of the Qun.

The Questioning Beliefs quests trigger after the companion's approval meter is at a certain amount. It's not automatic after you complete their personal quest.

You should still be able to get their QB quest in act 3, with more friendship/rivalry.
