Mass Effect 3 raised the bar so high that I can't enjoy non-bioware games.

After finishing Mass Effect 3 I've been unable to bring myself to play non-bioware games.  Bioware I just want to say you did a fine job with ME3.  However, it's important you understand my dilemma. You raised the bar so high with ME3 that now I have no single player game to play.

Please consider making more games like the following:

Dragon Age Series
Mass Effect Series
Witcher Series (I know it's non-bioware but it was inspired by Bioware. Witcher 1 used aurora engine by bioware)

These have been my favorite single player RPG's to play since 2007.

However there isn't enough Bioware games.  Please come up with more new & original series and release them in such a way where I'll always have an epic single player game to play. Thank you. The next game I have to look forward to is Dragon Age 3 and who knows how long that will be.

What does this have to do with Mass Effect 3? ME3 raised the bar so high that I don't know what games I'm going to play after KOTOR 1 & 2.  Bioware please make more games.

I looked at other sub-forums and had no idea where else to post this thread, my apologies.

I've had quite the opposite. ME3 put my bar so low on "good" games that low budget RPGs like Divinity 2 are better and I find I enjoy them a lot more now.

No offense, but if Mass Effect 3 is the defining game in your life, you need to play more games.

I still having trouble to play something else other than ME3.
Maybe because all the games I have I already finished them not too long ago.

I would have thought that until the last few hours of the game. Priority: Earth was absolute rubbish. All I could think about when the game was over was the lost potential.

mass effect 2 and 1 were the ones that set the bar, while me3 was good it struggled to reach it

I think you mean Mass Effect 3 lowered the bar so much that a gerbil could outdo it.

I loved the game myself. It had everything I wanted and more even if the ending was a bit of a let down. I honestly think people criticize it to much. I mean majority of the people who say they hate it, hate it cause of the endings.

And majority don't deny they hate it cause of the endings. I actually like the rest part of the game despite missing textures and other issues, but the ending made them look much worse than they are. The more you play, the more bugs and plotholes draw your attention...

Meh, it was a good game with some great moments and a terrible ending.

That puts it above average in terms of most games released, but certainly not the upper tier of games. It just didn't have that spark that separates the best from the rest.

You know what, and not saying this to be nasty or start a flame war, but it felt like a bread and butter EA game.

Yes, how dare someone enjoy a game you don't.

I mean, really. The nerve.

Ever since I picked up Mass Effect 1 again back in November, I haven't been able to play other games for long.

Please, s/he can enjoy the game all they want, but if ME3 is the bar, well...I suppose even Alone in the Dark and COD can jump over it. :P

And the solution is to make fun of someone's personal taste, just because they disagree with you?

MW 3 is an incredible game.  The battles always change.  The possibilities are endless Posted Image  I hope ME X doesn't go any further down this path tho.
