I have uploaded 4 characters, how do I know if I got my precious ring? I haven't received an email telling me about it.:o

Relax folks. There likely is a backlog of emails to go out, it'll come - also, make sure you check your spam filters etc.

The ring itself is not tied to a code. It is added to the account you use here on social (or more correctly, what account you used to upload your character to social with).

Log into DA:O with that account and it'll be there waiting for you.

You should be able to link your live account to this account. The social network login is essentially an EA account, and there is a mechanism to link EA accounts to live accounts.

Correct.

=/ That's not good at all.

My xbox live account uses a different email than my bioware account's email.

I guess I'll have to make a new bioware account. =(

Not at all.   When you opt to log into the DA servers from within 360/PS3 you are provided a standard login prompt with email/password fields that you can select - just select those fields and use the console keyboard screen that pops up to enter the same email/pwd you use to login to Social (what you uploaded with).

It does not have to be the same email you use for your Live/PSNetwork account.  :)

ALSO - FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL:

There is definitely some delay in sending out emails, but a minor item to point out - in order for us to send an email out to you, you will need to have ticked the box during your account creation to allow us to send you info/emails!

If you created your account within C.Creator this should say something like 'Get newsletter/info from BioWare' or 'Get newsletter/info from EA'.

HOWEVER - you do not need to have received that email to get your item, as this is unlocked by a separate process... it just means you won't get confirmation of getting the item.

In general, if you were able to upload your character - as in, it shows up here on social - you should be good to go.  You'll just have to be patient to find out for sure.  :innocent:

I'll look more into this - I only just realized it this evening, that this could be a reason some people aren't getting their mail outs.

for anyone wondering where their character portraits are, please see "Why isn't my DA Character showing up online?" in the FAQ.
