So not only do PS3 players somehow *glares at Bioware/Sony* get shafted from the promo weekends, now we don't get the packs that guarantee us new DLC content.

"Hi all,

This afternoon we released the Resurgence Pack on all 3
platforms but a few hours later we noticed that there was an issue on
PS3
. If you tried to buy this pack and had an issue please contact EA
Customer Support
and inform your PSN ID and the time you tried to
purchase this pack. We will investigate each issue reported.
"

When I saw the lines in bold my heart sank...

"blah blah blah...PS3 has an issue... blah blah... we are aware of it and working on it.... blah blah..."

6 weeks of silence ensues... :pinched:

Is this a pack similar to the premium spectre pack offered in the PSN store in multiplayer but is free? If indeed, PS3 gamers are certainly left out again.

No it was 99,000 credits. I bought one earlier with no issues. Who knows what the problem is with this crap game we got on PS3.

i see, thanks for the info, it is similar to the premium spectre pack then only it gaurantees a resurgence item/character.

It is just sad that PS3 gamers had these problems. Still hopeful though it gets fixed by Bioware/Sony.

sometimes i wonder why even release this game on the ps3 if they never planned on supporting it.

This happened to me, and two friends yesterday. When we emailed Sony, we basically got a word for word exact response, down to the contact name. This morning we went to try to contact EA customer support, like the forum directed, and it seems all of us are getting a "Sorry, your request can't be processed at this time" when we try to go to the contact-us section. Of course, I can login to the rest of EA without any problems... None of this looks very promising.

true but its annoying as **** to go on the 360 and pc forums and read some of the responses from bioware people saying they are actually working on problems and all we get is a lol resurgence pack sticky. I would type something else but I dont feel like being banned next month when the somone from bioware decides they need a laugh and come here.

Well, I was finally able to login after 10 onto the EA customer service. (I think it's possible they may not open up their contact-us section until their customer service people get in, which I guess is 7am PST). However, my friend did the live chat, and apparently they ultimately told her to contact Sony about this issue as they couldn't deal with any orders that didn't originate at the Origin store. At least, from Sony's email they are aware of the situation and working to correct it. Hopefully this correction means any funds used will be returned.

I guess its better they pull the pack until they fix it, but it still sucks for us on the PS3.
I suppose THIS is Sony's fault also, are can we blame THIS one on BW/EA?

So let me get this straight. We don't get a free Resurgence pack, because Sony won't let us participate, according to BioWare. However, we can BUY the Resurgence packs? Am I the only one getting pissed about this?

I too am quite pissed. I understand why they did it but they couldnt just add this in game for us for longer/give us one free. This is so very frustrating.

Thats one of the reasons why I got rid of the game.B) BioFail/EFAIL continueing to do this kind of crap just makes me sick:sick:. I remember the days when cames came out completely done which ment no DLC to download. Anybody remember codes that unlock stuff that WAS IN THE GAME?

Why does EAware hate PS3 users?
Why did we get the crappiest version of the game?
I mean we could "blame it on Sony..." but no, SOMEONE released a shoddy game, with a crappy ending, that is made even crappier by the fact that we can't get the same online experience as everyone else.

At least in exchange for the crappy ending everyone else gets free packs and weekend events, we just get a big middle finger.

basically, the pack was broken somehow (only on the PS3), so they pulled it until they fixed it.

People were buying the pack, but not getting the contents.

So on top of not getting a "free" resurgence pack, we can't even buy the one they said we'd be able to (not counting the fact that its over a week late, since they said it would be released alongside the Resurgence DLC).

On the plus side, I can get to the Docks in the Citadel elevator now, so they ARE fixing bugs. If only they could figure out where the Memory leak is that blows the frame rate all to heck if you play for too long (or switch around characters in Multi-play?), then it would be a huge step forward. Throw in a HD load option, and I think 80% of their problems might go away ...

Why are some saying it's sonys fault, when it clearly says to contact ea if you have issues. If it was an issue on sonys end would they not say to contact sony? Also if the other platforms are having problems too doesn't that make it even more clear it's bioware that is at fault?

Bioware blames Sony. Sony says they have no idea what anyone is talking about in regards to the ME3 MP events.

Well while I know that sony sucks at working with blah blah blah
I think its important to remember that in this matter only one company released a game and did not warn consumers that the version for one platform would not provide them with the same experience as users on other platforms. Whether its because of ****ty programming, lack of funds, or not being able to come to a compromise with another company before release, there is only one company here who is shafting a section of their fanbase.

We're the smallest, so it's OK. Maybe if we brought them more money...
