Am I the only one that finds Leliana SO irritating?

Morrigan? Maybe not so bookwormy, but she's definitely intellectual, and has very sarcastic wit.Vergil_dgk wrote...
Don't hate her, but she is kinda bland and the shoes and shopping-girly stuff is overdone and annoying. When are they going to make an intellectual-style bookworm girl with sarcastic wit for you to romance? That would be my personal favourite...
ETA: Regarding shoes, I have a friend that has a walk in closet roughly the size of my bathroom that's full of nothing but shoes. One could buy a used Porsche for what she has invested in shoes.

HAHA! I feel your wife's pain. Alistair was my Hephaestus until he dumped my lil city elf hottie. That's done a subsequent 180 on my personal opinion of him for all future playthrus. I know it's metagaming, but I can't help it. I will always <3 Leli in all my future playthrus. She never makes love hurt. =D
LOL! my wife's first character was also a city elf. It's good to know that she's is FAR from the only poor girl who got hit hard by the sudden "WTF" lol
Must admit though, my wife's reaction was simply priceless! xD

Um, you are mistaking a shrew for what he is asking for. You can be sarcastic and intellectual without being a total ****.

No, you are not. She is good for laughs though. I really laughed seeing her throwing a fit at a certain point of the game. Her last, as I recall.
She ranks a tad higher than Sten and quite a bit above Morrigan. Wish I could leave the witch behind in Lothering as wellThat is where my adventures with Leliana usually end, by the way.
I just run to the Circle tower an rat her out to the templars...

I dislike myself, more for her accent than anything else. I don't care whatever anyone else says, she sounds deaf to me, not French. It wouldn't be bad at all if she actually was deaf, but she's not so it's just weird.
That's a stragne sentiment. I've never disliked anyone for their accent. And I've met a LOT of people with strange accent. Maybe because I grew up in a tourist town, so they don't really seem strange to me.
But even if they did seem strange, I don't think I could ever dislike someone because of accent. That's so shallow. Personality is what amtter IMHO.

Wynne, old wizard.
Morrigan, mysterious wizard
The dwarf is like any dwarf in any story, with dwarfs; dwarves? Dworfzs?
Allistair, noble do-gooder
Sten - pretty original
Shale - pretty original
Dog - is a dog
Zevran - pretty good too

However...some of the starting romance stuff made me feel a little creeped out. Like the line about watching me sleep and fluttering eyelashes. I get the sense that she'd be "the crazy ex".
Doesn't she say that AFTER you slept together? Like when you wake up next morning?
What's so strange with that?

For sure, she slash your tir... I mean dent your steed's horseshoes and throw a brick at it.

I found it kinda sweet and endearing. Then again, I'm a guy who likes to cuddle and adores my wife so I find her very peaceful to watch when she sleeps and I'm still up.Lotion Soronnar wrote...

I tried romancing her once, and god.....that was disturbing. Zev or Alistair, if you are involved with someone else, remain pretty civil with your diplomatic efforts to end it with them. But holy cow, I tried to let her down easy, and I was thinking a blade in my gut any moment...yikes.
I'd take Morrigan anyday. As big a beeeatch as she is, I'd feel safer there...

I don't like the original head as much. The plump cheeks and wierdly shaped lips look strange and distracting when she talks.

What, Morrigan wasn't sarcastic and i-know-it-all and "can you please get this book for me i'd really like to read" enough? She even keeps her hair in a bun...Vergil_dgk wrote...

She's girly, religious, a little nutty, sounds french and she's a "ginger".
Guess who I romanced first. Shes just all around sweet, I can forgive her faults.
