I'm pretty sure Bioware came up with that silly idea on their own, and they sure went ahead and implemented it even while I was camping the forums going NO NO NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!!!!!

Maybe we should make a top ten list of reasons why he should be a companion, or sign a petition or go ask the Anders fangirls if they kidnapped Gaider or something. Or maybe Laidlaw. He's the boss man, right?

Or just make a video of the secret ritual and put it on youtube in hopes that we can get national attention. They have to make Cullen a companion if we were trending! Or maybe Twitter? #Cullenfornextthing

No, Anders didn't come back due to 'fan demand.'

Anders game back because he merged with a spirit of Justice and the writers thought that would be interesting in a game about the beginning of the Mage/Templar war.
