Does anyone know what Anders' real name is? It seems like something he should have brought up during your friendship with him. I only know about its being a nickname from something one of the writers said once.

No joke! Makes me mad. They called him Anders at the Circle because he was brought there from his family in the Anderfels. Even without the name thing, weird that he never talks to you about his family (which should be one of his biggest gripes as a Circle mage) and rarely even talks about his life at the Circle or his escapes from the Circle or his life with the Wardens. It's all "the cause this" "the cause that".

Yeah that annoyed me in DA2, none of them spoke about their life growing up like the companions in DA:O did.
