Then I cast "sleep" on Cullen, drag him to Isabella's boat and we ride

I was expecting something other than this;

off into the sunset... with my dog.

oh nice catch George
He's on to you Jackie...

... not while he's asleep, weirdos!

What? I wouldn't do that to George. Purely fictional characters only!

lmao I thought you were talking about George!
In that case, Cullen never sleeps...
, you can tell by the rings around his eyes, am I the only one who finds them sexy?

it's true, he does look pretty tired. I don't know about sexy, but it'd take a lot to unsexy Cullen. Wonder if it was meant to be a joke -- you know, about the Twilight vampires since his name is Cullen. they're all supposed to have dark circles under their eyes too.

Work was alright. I hate these five hour shifts, there's no break and you're just doing makeup for five straight hours. lol. I'd much prefer a full 8 hour shift- but oh well.

Okay, so I'm pretty convinced that we'll have Cassandra as a companion. I mean, that's all but announced imo. So I'm wondering how Cullen and Cassandra would get along. Would he consider her more in charge because of her seeker title? I think it'd be interesting depending on if Cassandra and her seekers stayed with the Chantry or if Cassandra is a part of the seeker contingent that separated from the Chantry and...and possibly Cullen being a rogue ex-templar that sides with the Chantry...

It could be fun to see the ways it'll all work out.

You have a makeup job? Interesting!

I agree about Cassandra. Even if she isn't a companion she'll probably be a strong figure in the story. I wish now that I had payed closer attention to her lines in DAII. I don't remember if she ever mentioned whether what she was doing was for the Divine or not.

I don't see Cullen leaving the Chantry, or if he does, it will be because he had some crazy PTSD attack after the events of DAII, in which case I'm pretty sure his better judgement will win out and he'll come back to the light side.

Yeah, I work as a makeup artist for Sephora.

I'll go youtube cassandra's lines and see if she ever mentions the Divine. I can see Cassandra leaving the chantry just from the little that I know of her- but not Cullen and absolutely  not Leliana, which is why I think either Cassandra stayed with the Chantry or Leliana is a spy. I mean it'd be right up her alley.

Okay, she introduces herself as "Seeker of the Chantry" so....I'm thinking she's stayed with the chantry.

Wow. What do you make of that, Deja?

I didn't understand a lot of it, but I definitely caught the joke about load screens taking so long. lol

Beneath Quick Reply, next to the Submit button, there is "... or use the standard form."

Click that, then type some words. Highlight the words, then click on the little Earth-with-a-chain-link button. Paste your link in the spot labeled URL.

Don't listen to George, Deja -- celebrities are always high maintenance. The rest of us peasants can cut and paste. ;)

Seeker of the Chantry... good.
During the final scene of the game, did anyone else see Leliana and Cassandra together and think
"I wonder if those two....?"

I can totally see Cassandra swinging that way. But I don't think Lel's her type. I can't actually see Cullen swinging to men, but I'm perfectly content if he does, as long as he swings both ways. I say we ladies shouldn't have all the fun with Cullen.

I'm not sure exactly what I make of the missing lines vid- it's a bit hard to understand without context. Thought the Connor part was interesting- I hope they don't retcon his death in my playthrough because I found him extremely annoying. Fenyriel too. Gah.

If you could have ONE past companion back as a future companion, from either game- just ONE, who would it be? I think for me it would be Varric.

I actually don't want them to reintroduce any old characters that once had a significant role. Honestly, I feel they butchered Leliana, Anders should have been dead, and Zevran should have been a skeleton on the side of some road.

If they don't intend to include consequences, then they shouldn't offer the choices to beging with. As much as I have previously enjoyed BioWare games, DAII really shattered my faith in their ability to continue a saga. In large part because of the changes they made to combat, but also much to do with how they handled the choices we made in DA:O. Those choices revolving around the characters that were important in that game.

I'm indifferent to it, really. I like previous companion cameos or as NPCs- but I'd prefer to have previous NPC's become companions, hence Cullen. I don't think they will retcon deaths and choices as much in DA3 as they did for 2 though- I think the backlash was enough to make them rethink doing it anymore than they already did. I just thought it was an interesting question and wondered why people would choose certain people. For story issues, for combat issues or party issues. But I think mostly everyone's thinking like you.

I think it's an interesting question, no matter what Bioware does. :)
