A contraction of 'Serious Business', popularly used among the Red vs Blue forums, as well as various other ports of call around the internet.

It's main use is mocking, when someone takes the internet too seriously or takes a joke too seriously, people will often remark on how it is "srs bsns".

ah I hate the 'gush and squee' thing, it makes it seem like we're all a bunch of obsessed loners lol
.. well that might be partly true
I just like to think of myself as a very passionate Dragon Age fan
I didn't mean for this to turn into a fan thread for Cullen but can't deny the inevitable

Oh and thankyou for the answers about Anders! I'd always heard he came back partly because the fans wanted him and Bioware thought it would be interesting, but I wasn't on the forums then so I didn't know

Hey check us out, we've turned into fan girls!

... Now all I need is a Cullen body pillow...

Lmao I heard of that for Garrus!
Ah I told myself it would never happen but the Cullen thread was just too tempting and the people there are so nice!
What else would I do on my lone saturdays? I'd be lost!

And since apparently this has turned into a Cullen gushing thread...

I loved him on my female Mage Warden - how he clearly wanted to hook up with her but tortured himself for it. So I would love to relive that with my DA3 mage, if he was a party member. Specially since he's better looking now.

Yea...I'm gonna go watch Cullen videos on youtube now...

Here's a little something to get you started:

Haha, that video is amazing. They should have made all the romance scenes in DA2 shirtless...

Though honestly, I think the devs decided a long time ago if Cullen will or will not appear in the game as a companion. And since his fanbase has been rather unexpectidly large for a few years now, hopefully the decided to have him stick around. I mean, that happened with Sandal, as well.

Anyway, getting (sort of) back on topic... I'm going to write a fanfic about how Vengeance made Anders take his earring out.

Someday.

Thanks for the clarification! I openly admit I get hideous nerd rage. I embrace it, gives me a good reason to be a miserable bastard LOL.

It seems odd and totally pointless for them to completely retcon his DA:O epilogues (causing large amounts of backlash) and give him such an important role in DA2 if they didn't have something big planned for him... especially considering he was a very minor NPC in DA:O.

I don't think they expected him to have such an impact on people.

We're not all obsessed loners! I have a boyfriend who I've lived with for years and although I may or may not make him pretend he's a templar and I'm a naughty mage..that doesn't mean I'm obsessed. lol. He just rolls his eyes when I <3 video game characters.

People wouldn't think I was a geek based on my appearance alone, so I generally pass undetected in real life LOL... Not that I'd ever deny being a total nerd, I've never been cool so why start now eh!

I live a bit of a double life.. In the real world I'm just a normal next door girl BUT as soon as I get home I put on my giant glasses, strap on my suspenders and come on here!
(kidding about the suspenders and glasses part...)

This got me to thinking and I'd like to propose a hypothetical question.

Let's say Cullen was added as a companion, but his mind is starting to become addled because years of lyrium use catching up with him.  He even starts mistaking you, his love interest, for Mage Amell or Surana.  Your fellow mage companion presents a possible, but radical, solution, possess Cullen with a entity of the Fade with the hopes it restores his mind. The mage then reveals the only entity willing to go possess an addled templar is a desire demon.  Do you...

1.) Refuse the suggestion. Cullen slowing continues to lose memories. His still has a strong sword arm and retains his templar skills. He loves you but can't remember why.

2.) Convince Cullen to become possessed. The posession is largely successful, Cullen wins the battle of wills and mind is mostly restored. Gameplay wise he switches specialization to Spirit Warrior. Now for the cost, while he still loves you, he loses a lot of impulse control to the desire demon and a monoganous relationship on his end is impossible.

Ask him what he wants and respect his wishes.

LOL, the first thing that comes into my head when people mention gamers is pale, skinny, greasy haired guys and really fat girls... which is terrible because I'm a gamer myself! It's because we're conditioned to think like that I suppose. I'd love to know what everyone looks like on here though, I always find it strange talking to people without knowing what they look like.

I think this is an interesting concept... I don't think it true because I believe that if a character didn't fit into the story concept of the RPG they wouldn't use them, right? Seems fair to say to my way of thinking. But, on the off chance that you are right here, someone quick whip out your mojo stick and make it happen for Cullen! Oh and bring Anders back! Justice ditched him when it was apparent that death was imminent. He somehow survived and is now more tortured and driven than ever!!!! Mwhahaha!!!!
Sincerely,
Your crazed fan.

Would he be coherent enough to understand whats being asked of him though?

Oh my that's exactly what I thought too!
I also wonder that, I've come to realize when I try to picture the person I always end up thinking they look like they're avatar, which is probably way off, LOL

Idk, I look exactly like femhawke. And all the gamers I know (guys anyway) are pretty hot, actually. My boyfriend included, though he isn't the rpg gamer type.
