It occurs to me that if now is the time to ask for features, I should remember to bring up some that I've wanted in both games:
Let me run things from a single hotbar--or have all the companion bars up on the screen at the same time regardless of who is selected. SOMETHING like this. I spend an amazing amount of time trying to micromanage the tactics of my companions when what I really want is the ability to trigger off their abilities without first:
A.) pausing
B.) switching to their perspective
C.) finding the ability on their hotbar, because I can't remember what is where for every companion on 8 companions worth of bars and I like to give all of them at least SOME playtime.
D.) Target the ability
E.) Unpausing, then possibly having to repeat this all over again because at the moment I paused they were mid-activation on something ELSE so THAT has to finish up first and now they've forgotten what it is I told them to do.
I'd much rather let the game run, realize that, hey, Aveline should taunt, and just hit the key I've assigned as "AVELINE TAUNT NOW".
I do appreciate that you guys added the "next enemy" button like I BEGGED for. That was AWESOME. Now please, please, please add a hard-targeting feature. Enemies targeted by "next enemy" or tactics would be soft targets, but any enemies CLICKED ON BY THE PLAYER (or scrolled to by the controller for console players I guess) would become the persistant hard target and any abilities from ANY party member would auto-target ON THAT TARGET. Area-of-effects would center ON THAT TARGET or at least be aimed IN THAT DIRECTION. Until you reset to a soft target by, say, hitting the Next button or clicking to a new hard target. But I am so friggin tired of selecting a monster, setting one character to use an ability on it, then switching to another character, saying "use an ability", and having to SELECT THE SAME MOB AGAIN. And again for the third person. And then again for the fourth person.
I know some aspects of that might be problematic for people who play on NIghtmare and have to deal with friendly fire. Maybe there could be a (GASP) toggle. Or just have Hard Target be an option in the keybinding list that you have to assign yourself.
And the snap-to targeting for AOES on the PC Is GODWAFUL get rid of it. Either have it center on a hard target automatically or let me move it freely wherever I want with the mouse.
