Calculating with a Hurricane for instance, the High Velocity barrel is easily superior on Gold against armor to the High Caliber barrel. On Silver, it is about equal. On Bronze, the High Caliber barrel is miles better.

I agree with this. Though I'll always take AP ammo + Extended barrel before AP mods if I have enough. If I know I'm not going to be fighting cerby then I'll use warp ammo for armor reduction instead (pretty close to AP in armor reduction and slightly better in +damage%)

I'm pretty sure Mendoza never made a googledoc of this, though it's possible somebody took his data and threw it together in a pleasing format.

I've brought it to his attention that this thread has resurfaced, though I can't guess as to whether or not he cares enough to run new numbers. He's been pretty frustrated at how much he doesn't have a harrier yet, and he's been enjoying himself on gotham city impostors, or in the gunner position of my BF3 helo.

I've thought about it recently, I have a lot of free time on my hands in the near future, so it's a possibility that I might get bored doing nothing and actually force my self to do some work for the greater good. I don't promise anything, and my numbers were always dependant upon the weapon spreadsheets so I won't be able to update until those are up to date.

GCI is pretty god damn fun. it's TF2 without the stupid hats. 

And cutting people in half with bullets the size of my femur never gets old.

Hey, if you've got the free time, I have a busy few weeks coming up. Wanna find something crazy interesting or remotely cool in physics (published in peer reviewed journal since Jan 2011) for me to give a presentation about? It would give me much more time to do things on my xbox like play mass effect 3 multiplayer with you (see how I stayed on topic?).
