Bronze has a relaxed pace and I occasionally get to help out newbies.

I get to try out new weapons that I'm unfamiliar with. Like the harpoon. Which I suck at. Or practice headshotting moving targets, which I also suck at. Also, I get to help newbies who are getting used to the game. I spend almost all my time on Silver though. I only go into gold when I find a random silver team that gels.

New characters, weapons and new builds I usually try in bronze.

Bronze is more relaxing if you're feeling lazy.

Bronze is the mode where you can do crazy things you can't do in Silver/Gold, like meleeing everything.

1. to warm up before moving on up to silver
2. to ramp back down after 4 or 5 silver matches with bad PUGs
3. When I need more than failed silver matches worth of credits for a pack and less than a successful bronze guaranteed
4. New builds and weapons that I don't feel like inflicting on a team that actually needs me at top form.

God am I sorry to the people I tried out a no stability mod vindicator on with a human soldier.

i play it when i am close to getting a 99,000 pack because of the odd pricing scale...3 silvers doesnt work...so i would rather play a bronze to lighten the mood, as opposed to another silver

Because...

When you have a teammate that's a moron on bronze, they get themselves killed.

When you have a teammate that's a moron in silver/gold, the can get EVERYONE killed

Seriously, I can put up with idiots in bronze, since you can get away with more anyway and if someone's down on the other side of the map, I can pretty much wipe out the remaining enemies to clear out the stage. It's funny how when I turn those matches from bronze to silver, I can be 3rd or 4th place in bronze simply because I don't feel like chasing enemies on a map, but the second I turn it to silver, I'm not only on top of the scoreboard, but doubling the score of the next highest scorers. Also, I get the most revives. :-) I'm by no means saying I'm a gaming demi-god, but I've seem to run into a bunch of idiots lately while playing online.

Because I like my Krogan Battlemaster, but I am not going to make people playing Silver suffer him. Also, sometimes I just want to play a class I suck at and I don't want to let the other people down.

I cannot agree with this more.  All it takes is one good screw up to completely turn the tide of a wave.  I will admit though, that I have been having more luck with joining random games and the team seems to have a nice synergy going and *gasp* actually work toward the goal of the mission.

I do it because I don't promote (N7 = 210), and I really don't want to learn how to play with new characters or guns I just unlocked (e.g., from Resurgence) on gold or silver.

Jumping into a gold match to figure out how to use the Kishock you just unlocked = truly epic fail.

Because leveling applies to all races and some races have really different playstyles. I don't like hindering my team, so I test new races or builds in bronze.

Test out new characters etc, unlocked Batarian soldier last night, so just put a few points of skill into it first, see how I went, decided how I wanted to play it and that was that. (Ended up not liking it anyway so promoted to try another way)

Believe it or not, bronze is still too hard for some players even if they are level 20.

While this may be true, and I am only able to speak for myself, I think that some players prefer to just remain in their comfort zone (absolutely nothing wrong with this, you spent the money on the game, I have no right to judge nor dictate what difficulty you must play).  I have never done a solo bronze, and tbh I still doubt that I'd be able to handle it.  However, yesterday another player and I soloed the entire 11 waves and honestly it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be.  :wizard:

Because it's where I have the most fun. Silver can be a struggle for me sometimes, and I've only ever completed Gold once because we did the whole geth on Firebase White thing (which was interesting, but I wouldn't want to do it a a lot).

Bronze is more of a "sure thing" for me.  Silver can concievably earn money quicker but going the public  route is a bit of a crap shoot so you can quickly get stuck in a wasted 30 minutes.  When my friends are on I definitely do silver, but otherwise I just go for the sure thing.

I guess to just play a quick match (it takes only 15 mins or less) while most the time when I play Silver its over 25 mins

my question is why not ?

Did not see a rule that tell me i cannot play on bronze as a level 20
i do it for fun , to test new characters and to test weapons , but mostly
simply because it has a bit more breathing space and relax , login start
shooting stuff.. i play mostly silver or bronze.

1) They have more fun on bronze.
2) They are trying out new characters/weapons/strategies.
3) They need a few thousand credits to buy a pack.
4) They have the good sense to play within the limits of their skill level, so as to avoid pulling down gold/silver games.  There's no shame in that.  I spent a long time in bronze before moving up the difficulty scale, with good results.
5) They have a hard time finding decent teams in gold/silver.

I play bronze when I'm feeling lazy or not playing at my best, so I'm not going to be the cause of a wipe or be carried through the match. Or in the (rare) occasion I feel like playing infiltrator; I couldn't snipe the only guy standing between me and a bucket of water if my dick was on fire, so bronze is the only difficulty on which I can pull it off unless I go CQC.
