Hello,

Someone I know recently received her ME hoody. She ordered a size S but tells me it's a good deal larger than what she expected. She says it feels like a size M. This makes me wonder, is there a difference between American and European sizes ? And if so, is that difference the same for men and women ? Or is it just the hoody that's large of itself ?

Internet isn't helping much, I'm finding conflicting information. Some say yes, some say no. Others say it depends on the brand or the clothing itself (seems logical). I hope someone here can clarify this for me with regards to the ME hoodies.

Best regards,

Fnork.

Like you say, it will depend on the brand. I tend to look at the actual measurements - rather than whether its small, medium, etc - before buying anything, and compare them with the measurements of a clothes retailer that I regularly shop at.

The Bioware Store is actually slightly confusing in that regard (unless I'm missing something) as the only measurements they list are width and length. That's not a problem, I would guess, for men but for women... is the width measuring the waist or the bust?

I'm a guy and their chart is confusing me too. If I look at my chest & waist size in inches I should be a size M. If I measure width and length both from seam to seam on my regular clothing I should be a size S if I use their size chart. I guess it's the hoody that's large of itself.
