- Login problem again with IE8. If I choose "remember me" it never remembers my login info and kicks me back to log in. Deselecting "remember me" box allows a login instance.
- The left-panel navigation floaties are completely broken for me with IE8. When I hover over say for example "Profile" and bring up the sub-menu pop-up context selections like "Full Profile" "Edit Profile Information" etc. and try to navigate to them...the context menu disappears as soon as I move the cursor off "Profile". This basically makes the resulting content pop-ups unselectable. The workaround is to left-click and drag to the pop-up context menus and then select.
- None of the Profile tabs are functional/selectable for me, like Comments/Projects/Forums/Albums/Games.
Didn't think it was possible, but this Site's quality/usability is actually regressing.....

Its only the worst browser out there. There are plenty of better more stable alternatives. mozilla firefox, safari, opera, google chrome.
Okay its not good that the site isnt too compatible with IE but considering most folk -dont- use IE for their browsing need the site was probably built on or with firefox in mind.
Its not very helpful to say but change your browser to Firefox or Safari. You might have an easier time of it.

Also, many of your points against using IE are factually incorrect. IE holds the largest market share % of any browser by far, its not even close really, so it tacitly enjoys more support as more people = more feedback = more beta testers = better compatibility. Also, IE is by far the most secure web browser as it has far fewer security holes compared to its competitors and any security threats are patched sooner by MS. Lastly, there's numerous features supported by IE that are superior in terms of usbility compared to their rivals, do they all even support tabs/previews yet? And finally, very simple features like Bing Cash Back don't work on all non-IE browsers.
In the end, I really don't care that much about what browser I use, I just expect it to work. Honestly that last paragraph is the most time I've ever spent thinking about the pros/cons of a particular browser, I guess blokes in the UK/EU care more about browser choice etc. but as they say, I really can't be arsed about what browser I'm using, I just expect it to work.

Well if you think IE is good and want to blame Bioware for the problems you are having with it then thats your problem.

Again, you don't seem to get it. I don't think IE is good or bad, I don't think on it at all actually when it works, I just expect it to work. I only give it thought when it doesn't work, like now. Given IE works just fine with 99.9% of every other web page or forum I've ever visited without any issues whatsoever and the fact many of the problems with various features aren't exclusive to IE, it sounds like BioWare's SoNet package is at fault here.FitScotGaymer wrote...

Even if it were a problem with IE I would certainly expect BioWare to fix the problem on the browser that 60-70% of users are using instead of expecting them to download and install another browser package to fix their buggy website's compatibility issues.

QFT. Why do I have to download more software because a website's inability to interact with the most commonly used browser? Answer: I shouldn't have to.
Get over the MS bashing, it is not fixing the issue.
