Before that. Wynne got possesed when she was fightning a demon while saving Petra. It was before you got to the tower.

Yes. That's how Petra came to be in Wynne's group.

Not quite so similar, Wynne's Spirit (forget which virtue it was for) remained a spirit upon possessing her.. Whereas Justice turned into a demon of vengeance upon possessing Anders.
Wynne is possessed by a spirt that allows her to retain free will
Anders is possessed by a demon that takes full control of him at times and is influencing his decisions and actions quite alot as seen by the difference in personality at the end of act 3 between rival anders and friendship anders

I think i'll have to channel Merril and say, there are no such thing as good spirits in the Fade.
But i wouldn't say what happened to Wynne was a possession per say, more like inhabitation. Faith and Wynne were always two separate entities. Anders on the other hand allowed Justice to possess him. They might have started out separate, but over time they slowly fused into a single being.
Unless you rivalled Anders of course. But even then, the lines between them are so blurred; that Justice was able to take control of Anders' body for lengths of time.

I'd say it's a stretch to say that the two are alike. True, they both have spirits inside them but any likeness between the two ends there. Anders is largely controlled by Justice while Wynne is much more in control of herself. Also Wynne didn't choose it while Anders did. So to me the only thing the two have in common is that they have a spirit inside them. Everything else is very different.

Wynne is why I gave Anders the benefit of the doubt in DA2. Boy did I misjudge that.

Wynne is a relatively stable mage despite having had her baby son taken away from her, and inhabited by a rather passive spirit, while Anders has emotional issues from his many experiences as a mage under the rule of the Chantry and the Templars and add to that, an aggressive non-demon spirit who may or may not have been "corrupted" or influenced by Anders, (or vice versa?)

Also, it should be noted that Faith (think that's the name of Wynne's co-habitator) was a voliteer. Justice was in kind of dire straights... He was forced from the fade in DAA. They didn't know what would happen to him if he didn't merge. Anders has never been the "selfless" and stable kind. I loved him in DAA and DA2! I just wish we could have seen more of Justice in the fade in DA2. the nightmare quest was too quick with not enough from him.

Playing DAA and getting 100% approval from both Anders and Justice, I finished DAA feeling like both characters were in good shape. In my game, Anders was a respected Grey Warden who helped save Virgil Keep and Justice was a noble spirit who seemed quite stable and followed the rules. He was pretty rigid and wanting to blow up the chantry would be something I would never suspect Justice to do. And same with Anders - he was quite vocally against about the the Amaranthine(sp?) mages wanting break away for more independence. So the whole Anders/Justice thing in DA2 shocked me and I was disappointed I made assumptions in DA2 based on what I saw in DAA

If you listen to Wynn tell her story Faith was always around watching her, in her dire need faith jumped in to help. justices was torn from the fade without any knowledge of the world outside it.Anders used that to his advantage, since justice only knew what he had seen, heard and felt with the wardens. Justice did it with noble intentions , Anderson though wanted to pursue his own greed by wanting to be the savior of all mages. I have an Xbox 360 so my story lines only go so far. The ending scenes one time at the end of DA2. I spoke everything a certain way , justice took over told me to kill anders found out that anders was doing all the plotting and schemes behind the scenes and Merrill was involved some kind of ritual for Anderson, was going to kill Merrill afterwards. Justice said he wanted to fix what Anderson did legacy made justice see the truth. Wynne always had faith watching caring for her that's why the bond was successful for faith and wynne.
