So I'm in a Bronze game at FBW: Reapers - 2 others playing, but I notice only one other player shooting. I look around, and the other guy is hunched over in cover on the far side of the high gantry area, next to the landing pad and ammo packs, not moving.
Through two levels, this goes on. I don't mind - I was trying out my new Batarian Soldier, so it gave me more practice with using the Ballistic Blades power. But the other guy next to me shooting - he does appear to mind. After each round, he starts running over to the camper and just starts emptying clips into the guy - whose Drell char keeps saying "Cut it out"...I was laughing so hard I almost missed a Brute sneaking up on me.
Which lead me to wonder - what other creative / humorous ways have been tried at handling XP/coin campers?
Best way to deal with XP/coin campers

Call them out, then quit the match.

I would love a way to report them or something

How can you tell it's deliberate? I got stuck to a ladder once on Ghost. I was in a prone position so it looked like I had bowel issues. I could still shoot though and it only lasted one wave. I avoided ladders the rest of the game.

I catch them early on. At the wave 3 objective, my teammates all die and get executed so the leecher doesn't get the credits. And then once we're back at the lobby, we vote-kick the bum.

I would quit a match, but I have only seen them on Gold. WTH would you camp out on Bronze? Hardly seems worth it...

^Yes, I agree with all those who posted about quitting. I think the best policy is to just leave the match. We should just remove the incentives they get from doing that.
At least this is the way to go until BW decides to employ a dual heuristics/voting method to boot camping AFK (away from keyboard) non-players.

yeah, i usually just quit - problem is day like yesterday (me and another friend, 2 randoms) -i used my ammo, power amplification and shotty rail amp ( 3 consumables, so did my friend), so by the end of 2nd wave when we realized that we olny have 3 players on the team... we kinda sucked it up and 3-manned it. Might help to talk in lobby 1st to see if people are being responsive, but might not be always practical.... damn leechers

I have no room to talk because I was idle for 2 waves in a recent game. I had to use the bathroom. However, I would fully understand if I was booted afterwards or the team just bailed. I don't use a mic so I couldn't tell them what I was doing.
On topic though, I think the best way to get the idlers is to leave, even though it's inconvenient. Though I'm not sure which difficulty you want to draw the line on. If it's bronze I wouldn't care, if it was gold, well, I guess it depends which wave you're on.

I confess it happened to me twice (to be the "lazy, doing nothing" guy) but I didn't do it on purpose, first time a postman rang, I thought it'll be just a minute, take the letters and get back to it no more than one minute or two, but he delivered a package saying it was for me, but I wasn't expecting anything and we argued for about 15 minutes, than I went back and the last player was just killed and in the menu I was kicked out, the second time it was because I have a flu (that is why I was at home when the postman came) and I simply sneezed, it was brutal I had to leave to take another tissue and as I was walking around the flat I simply forgot I was playing, then I realized I am still in the game I quickly came back and rejoined the fight for the 11th wave hepling to survive, then I was kicked out I was out 7 waves, it may sound wierd or even unbelievable but we are only people, sh*t - sneeze happens, but I am not saying some people are not doing it on purpose...

I play on Xbox and I give them negative rep. Since they are now considered "unwelcomed" players I should decrease the chances to play with them. At least that's what the "rep system" on Xbox live claims.

Ive seen mostly on bronze actually, i recon its because its easily to finish with less than full team, and less experienced folks might just keep going. i find it hard to imagine gold players not adressing this already on the first wave.

Pay close attention to your team's action/inaction in the early stages of the game. By wave 3, leechers have usually made themselves apparent. Quitting before leechers get any credits is the only way to remove the incentive for freeloading.

you could lead all the enemies over to the camper, then leave him to die.

I'm interviewing for a new job, so when the phone rings, the game goes on hold... people dropping into a match mid-wave as replacements doesn't seem to be all that reliable - to be honest, I'm a lot more benefit to the team if I take round 4 off behind cover and don't die, than if my team has to do rounds 5-11 on gold/reaper/reactor with three people.
It's a game - and well, other than (potentially) three consumables and a half hour, nobody's risking a whole lot here if 4 people in a co-op multiplayer game go down... Blowing off the wrong phone call may mean someone else gets my job. Having an in-game kick after xx seconds of inactivity would be abused pretty regularly - and again, in many cases (doorbell rings, phone rings, wife comes home from the store with a dozen bags of groceries, nature calls), what you're really dealing with is someone who's taking a brief break from the action.
It ain't that hard to do the math here, folks...lol I've found most of this activity to be - guess where - Firebase white...against who? Bueller...Bueller...Anyone? Anyone? Oh yeah, the Geth. Avoid White/Geth/Gold, and well...everything about the multiplayer experience improves. If you need credits, and have to farm there, you've just gotta accept the douches that come along with it.

I lead enemies over to where they are or i just set up camp right next to them. I've found that if they realize you aren't going to try then they start to shoot stuff since it's less likely they'll get many credits / exp if they have to hope the other two people finish up to wave 10 / 11 for them. There was one time though where a guy kept dying every round, so i had to shadow him and keep reviving his suiciding ass.

It's funny when you shoot at them that they also say "Amateur!", when they're Turian.
I thought it was pretty ironic.

I've had to walk away during a few games, for a few minutes, which can be an eternity in the MP.
I do have a mic, and announce to the others that I've got a call or a knock on the door and not to revive me if I get KO'ed, but I'm not sure if they can hear me or not, if they don't have a mic.
So far I haven't been kicked, so maybe it is working.

They hear you unless they have game sounds disabled.
Frankly i quit games with leechers after wave 3. Yes maybe we should quit before the wave, but that way at least some effort is rewarded.
I wish you could give negative reputation on PC...
Or kickvote inside the game...

It all depends on difficulty.
On Bronze/Silver, I try to pull a few enemies to the afk'er and get some revive points out of it.

On Bronze I don't really care to be honest
All you can do is kick them once the session is over. I never got why people just hide and do nothing, I can only assume something happened - doorbell, phone etc
