What blows my mind is that they had the perfect opportunity for a modeled face reveal on Rannoch. She takes off her mask to breathe in the Rannoch air, and the camera zooms out from behind.

Zoom out from the front! It was the perfect setup!

 

Yeah was just so damn perfect situation, make it like movie style like when Genophage is cured. Tali takes mask off and camera shows her face when she takes first breath Rannoch air!

And how about a proper romance scene? If they made the model for the Rannoch scene maybe we would get a better than fade to black. Maybe even and actual kiss. And the aftermath of it all when he reaches up and gently touches her mask. Seriously it was like cringe worthy. She is used to him, one more touch would have been fine, I mean she spent the entire night in bed with him..

I really hope "something" is up, and its a surprise of sorts..I mean c'mon, a stock photo? its just incredible that they (knowing the popularity of the character) would do somthing like that. Even if "artistic integrity" their over all goal is "money in pocket" so really?

I'd totally pay for romance DLC even if they didn't fix the endings. All they have to do is model Tali in game, redo the romance scene and maybe add a little more in terms of moments like the Liara 'Special Project' which was awesome.

For someone who did not really care much for Tali, Bioware have a responsibility to cater to ALL their users and put some effort into every single character.

Giving us only a picture of Tali would not have been so disappointing if they didn't spent time and money creating a 3D model out of an existing IRL person. Also I disagree with them, the woman on the picture is very pretty but IMO she doesn't look like Tali. Or at least she doesn't match the voice. Well that's just me.

Speaking of Tali unmasked I have a slightly off-topic question for those who romanced her. During the mission inside the Geth Consensus Shepard asks why the quarians he sees in the vids are masked to which Legion replies that it's because Shepard interprets the images through his own memories and asks "How many creators have you witnessed unmasked ?"

If Shepard romanced Tali then he saw her face, hell he saw her whole body so that doesn't make sense at all... So my question is how does it work out (or not) through the dialogue?

He says that he has seen one. And Legion replies something about how it doesn't match Geth records.

The problem isn't that it's a picture. The problem is that it's a photoshop of a stock photo that doesn't fit with the rest of the game's art style. They had time to make fake advertisements for the Citadel. They should have had time to draw an original picture of Tali's face.

It's like jeez louise why are they so dumb about her face? Tali's face isn't so much of a mystery anymore as it is a joke now. Even bioware is cracking jokes about her face with stock photo's and stuff. Well fine, if they don't want to give her a face then *I* will. Just got my imagination left.

Shep may have seen pictures of a lot more than one Quarian unmasked. Heck my "canon" Shep picked up a copy of Fornax in ME2
