Bioware are already aware they have a pissed off fanbase, they are trying to fix that. You miss the important concept here that there is NO REASON TO LIE ABOUT THE CONTENT OF *FREE* DLC. If this rumour was true or even semi true there would have been no acknowledgement by Bioware. As it is Mike Gamble made a point of coming to this thread to deny the rumour. Why bother if it was even partly true? He has nothing to gain from messing with us.

They've given us no reason to trust them, other than the fact that they're Bioware employees and therefore the "authority" on the issue; that is a very weak appeal logically. You can argue in circles all you'd like; it still doesn't make you correct.

Glad to see this is fake... though, frankly, I wouldn't be that surprised if it turns out to be an accurate prediction. I really want them to be able to salvage this, I do! And I know it's possible - there's a ton of fantastic pieces of fan-made content out there, all of which are considerably more satisfying than what we 'officially' got. But with the way they've been handling things so far...? You'll have to forgive me if I'm a little short on faith right now. (Prove me wrong, BioWare! We all know you guys can do it... but will you?)

1)Anonymous source on the internet with NO credence whatsoever by virtue of being anonymous
2)Mike Gamble, producer at Bioware who it can be safely assumed is privy to the details of the EC

Say what you like about Gamble's credibility or previous track record, he is irrefutably an employee of Bioware. This anonymous source has no verifiable background with which to lend credence to his claims.

Call me naive for not instantly seeing these people as conniving, manipulative liars when one of them comes to a thread to dispel a 4chan rumour.

Do you mind explaining the logic behind assuming that, simply because I'm denying Mike Gamble's credibility, I'm automatically defending the sleazy cesspool that 4chan is?

If it were my ideal world, they would give us the Indoctrination Theory and make it canon. Since dreams are so... irrational anyways, it completely (in my opinion) excuses all of the antics shown in the final minutes of ME3.
