Of course it's fake. The reality will be much worse.  I'm wagering it'll manage to not only not answer any questions, but introduce at least one more.  It'll get hyped up, release will happen, it'll have been a waste to wait for it.

Duh. That's the same spiel that Gamble gave us 15 pages ago. It doesn't make you, or Bioware, or Mike Giggity Gamble any more trustworthy on this issue.

So the rumor is obviously fake since it came from a supposed BioWare "art monkey"

We can't be inclined to believe either side at this point.

Of course it is...you actually got to argue against that genocidal madman's logic in this version. But, since his appearance is oh so artsy, that will probably never happen.

A good question to ask a person you're arguing with is "What do you believe about this subject?"

That way, you don't look ignorant. You still could be after the answer, who knows. From the apparent inability to ask said question in the first place, I truly wouldn't be surprised if you were.

Guys, please stop shooting the messengers. It's making the Retakers look bad and will only serve to distance the ME devs from its fanbase even more. Gamble came in and clarified that the "leak" on 4chan was fake. He didn't have to, but he did. Then Priestly came in to re-affirm this. Again, he didn't have to, but he did.

I know it's going to take time to get over the fallacies Bioware fed us concerning the endings, but there's a point where we need to hold back our punches and see what they have in store for us. They're giving us ending-related DLC. They didn't have to, but they are. They know what's been upsetting the majority of people (or at least, I would hope so), so hopefully, the extended cut will address them. Who knows? Maybe they have a few more surprises in store for us.

This whole situation has made me somewhat cynical, but I'll take whatever good news or olive branch I can find...

Be an optimist, then. The fact of the matter is that they lied, are unrepentant about it, and are not going to be repentant about it.

sad. shaking my head at the grasping at straws and ways to try to make yourselves look bad each and every day. this leak is poorly done that there is no authenticity to it. it's sad.

Actually, they did have to. While the ME franchise is only one part of Bioware, the overall reputation of their studio is at stake over this fiasco, and that translates into potential business repercussions. Unfortunately, I feel this particular appendage of Bioware has become gangrenous and needed to be amputated the moment they claimed "artistic license" and told us they wouldn't be offering any new or alternative endings, after delivering such an atrocious ending in the first place. It effectively renders the effort of offering ending DLC moot, and will only serve to further damage their reputation as a whole.

That could just be the cynic in me though.

On the bright side.

The negative reaction to said leak even though it's a confirmed fake, will at least hopefully give Bioware more reason to go a different direction. The more different the better.

That's better than what we got, but still, the adam and eve colony just is a terrible idea. It just doesn't fit into the story at all, its just thrown in rather clumsily. I want little blue children godammit!
