Expect a more elaborate ruse from /vg/ in the coming weeks.

The idea that 4chan has ever been a reliable source is rubbish. The Rescue, the Truth, Terminator and this were all proven false.

And until we start hearing anything from real people will gobble up that s*** and beg for more.

I disagree. The Synthesis is a very good ending. Having said that, the endings should be balanced in their side effects.

offcourse it's fake, but then again it's also the only thing they can and will do.
if they say they will not change the ending, they won't.

so what you will get to see with the dlc "those extra scenes" will be some footage of what happens on the other planets, earth, and the crashed normandy.

what else could there possibly be to expand upon?

some scene from tuchanka with either war or peace and rebuilding, rannoch with the geth and/or quarians rebuilding ... since your entire crew is crashlanded, there's nobody to save shepard.
it'l even take them some serious space magic to explain them how my ground team ended up on the normandy and joker flying off like none of my crew cared about me.

tl;dr fake but seems what they will do anyway as stated in the dlc anouncement

Seems legit.

I'm just wondering how the Catalyst conversation will turn out, and how the updates on what happens with Thessia, Palaven, Tuchanka and Rannoch turn out.

It's not new gameplay, yeah, but it's a step in the direction towards closure. If this is true, then I honestly can't wait to see how it all ends. This time.

True enough. Maybe BioWare will learn the value of communication from today (yeah right).

Synthesis is a disgusting abomination of an ending. Its a violation of the highest degree and not even Shepard has a right to change every living being in the galaxy against their will. Its detestable.

There you have it folks, so if it does turn out to be true, we have this post to look back to. /sarcasm.

Thanks Gamble.

So then I take it you agree with the Reapers view and Saren's view, that Organics and synthetics must be joined together hodgepodge, you know, like how a Reaper is built. Do you guys even think about the implications of these choices you make and believe are right? In ME2 you fought the epitome of sythesis, the human reaper. The fact that you believe Sythesis is a good ending is frankly disturbing.

Not to mention it makes no sense.

Whut? Gamble pretty much squashed the rumour in less than 2 hours after it appeared on this forum. I think that's pretty well communicated to be fair.

Must be legit. It's obvious that some random guy on the Internet wouldn't lie.

The fact that it got that far is even massively bleh in my book.

Strangely, this just puts everything into the.... Bioware had no idea fans would want to, y'know, finish up the story RE : Shepard & co. whilst making the story over 3 games, about Shepard.

Just puts everything into a sort of... sad perspective.

Of all the styles to follow, why M. Night Shaymalan?

I like to stay optimistic about EC and give Bioware the benefit of the doubt...

But if they just do this, I'm really going to be upset. Shepard's still dying alone in rubble in the high EMS destroy and no one comes and finds her? Normandy crew still ditches Shepard and ends up on Gilligan's Planet?

edit: saw the Mike Gamble post.  OK, I'm done being upset. :innocent:

They're a video game company, not the chinese government. They don't really have the power to do anything but deny ridiculous claims when they eventually see it.

If this turns out to be true(which I highly doubt) then heads will roll.

"A scientist, several elite soldiers, a doctor, and many engineer personnel, one of the most advanced space vessels in the galaxy(likely with tons of technological/cultural data all land on a planet; 10,000 years later their descendants haven't achieved space travel."

I appreciate the speed on the debunk hammer, but the "we aren't yet at a state in production" worries me.
