There are actually people that got banned for posting their dislike of Mass Effect 3 ending, so instead swallowing any Bioware lie that they say, you should think that actually the fans have a strong point.
It's obvious that Bioware tries to hide the hatred they gathered regarding the ending of ME3. It's what I would do after I would mess up things so bad.
Cool. Want to give me their usernames, so I can verify? Because I can think of a few people who were banned because they weren't able to follow the forum rules, and of that group, there are going to be people who were against the ending. Just like there are people in that group who were in favour of the ending.
I'm more than happy to investigate anyone's case who thinks they were unfairly banned - however, there are rules everyone agrees to when they sign up here. If you can't follow those rules, that's when you get banned.
I just wish there was a bit more of a warning to it or something. I saw you ban someone once, it went like this - thread posted, banned immediately.
You'd think moderators delete threads and send warning messages first. I mean, when I was a moderator at another forum, that's what I did.
Most bans are preceded by warnings. There are a few exceptions, though - personal attacks against other posters or developers, hate speech (homophobia, etc.) or piracy talk. You'll get an immediate 24 hour ban for any of those.
Spamming, bickering or meme image posting (in violation of the site rules), on the other hand, I give people at least one (sometimes two) warnings before banning for any of those. As always, though, we're human, and if we made a mistake we're completely open to addressing that.
