When we're playing one of the higher difficulties and I'm running towards one of the 'kneel down and use a laptop' objectives with my Engineer who doesn't really have much brutish firepower or a HP... and an Asari runs up next to me, slams up a force field around me. Or a Krogan running up to serve as my meat shield while I finnish the objective and the proceeds to follow me to the next objective as protection.

That just puts me in a good mood. It feels like we're in a buddy cop movie. Image IPB

You all deserve a cheer.

Cooperative teamplay...always makes me warm and fuzzy. Not caring about the numbers on the screen, but just winning in general, and keeping everyone alive.

Funny, I just got a teammate like that. Even though I was an infiltrator, and would Cloak for the objective, they still put a bubble around me.

Nice people ftw!

Cooperative team members in a Co-op game?  Sounds dumbcore

Or when you're cloaked, and the other guy stands over you to provide rocket splash damage.

It's alright when they cover you, but it's more effective if they'd move away and attack enemies to draw them out of your vicinity

I use a Batarian instead of a Krogan, but yeah, I love this. I usually call out in VC that I've got your back too. :D

If I'm around and a teammate is hacking one of those terminals, I'll always stand right in front of him to protect him first and foremost. Even if I'm playing as a human. I can always get picked back up, but we want to get those terminals off line as soon as possible.

For me, I always smile when I dodge a rocket. I was playing the other day, and a Geth fired a rocket at me, and I rolled backwards and the rocket soared right over my character's head, missing him completely. That was a pretty cool Hollywood moment, hah.

It's at time like this in co-op games that I wish more studios did what Portal 2 did and let your robots... or Krogans/Batarians and Salarians/Quarians high-five each other. Image IPB

"You know what always puts me in a good mood?"

A quick romp through a Bronze lobby with a Human Vanguard + Carnifex?

Personally, I make it a point to always say, "thanks" or "thank you", whenever I get cover, protection, revived, and/or saved from getting my butt kicked by (an) enemy(s) that just about to hand me mine.
It's rare to find players who know how to play as a team.  Explains why my friends list is short.  Heh. Image IPB

I always like it when someone runs up and starts capping something you're half way through doing yourself.

standing right next to them is a bad idea, splash damage from rockets will get them, and its even worse if they're an infiltrator

It's also exceedingly rare to find team players who prioritize objectives and team survivability, and don't give a rat's a** about kill-credit nor points.

My friends list is actually getting pretty long, and filled with people who work as a team... that's the only way I send a friend request, is if I play a few rounds with them, and they aren't ****s.

4 human vanguards, gold, reapers, random map. This puts me in a good mood.

yes!  i used to get annoyed when squadmates weren't near me.  now i hate it when all three of them sit next to me and pull all the enemies in my direction (although, i know they're just trying to help)

seriously, if the spot isn't under fire, 1 guy keeping an eye out is plenty.  if the others lead the enemies away and keep them engaged, it is way better.

had a justicar today "protect" me by putting his damage bubble near me and then try lure a whole buttload of reapers to it- right across my laptop.

it is definitely nicer when people try to help than when they ignore the objectives...it's just not always as useful.

ever since i got my justicar i've always dropped shields down on the laptops :D

and even if there's things to kill on the other side of the map i stick until the hack is done just to make sure nothing turns up, it's my money that would be wasted if they get stunned and we get a smaller time bonus..

My teammates often receive that life saving snipe from my infiltrators or the last second biotic charge from a vanguard. More often than not, I try to cover my teammates and focus more on completing objectives and watching the flank than trying to out score others. So in advance to any of you, you're welcome.
