I remember this happening once. I was the adept in that scenario.
I think we had each of the Krogan classes too. It was a fun game.

After warming myself up on the mechanics of this class with a few Bronze matches, I hopped into a private match with two of my good buddies (and a new third one) on Silver. And I discovered I now have a new second favorite class (my first being my tried-and-true Turian Sentinel).
What put me in a good mood was being able to rush in and be the hero when a teammate went down. The Vanguard is truly an ideal class to serve in this capacity. When we faced Cerberus and geth, if a teammate went down, I'd run towards them. Whenever I saw a trooper (of either enemy flavor) about to perform the stomping execution, I'd Biotic Charge the enemy, stagger them back, revive my friend, then Biotic Charge the enemy again to ensure my friend made a clean get-away. Repeated this several times and it was an awesome, empowering feeling to be able to do that. I mean, it is seriously a cool Superman/Mighty Mouse kind of moment... to see a downed teammate about to die, shout over the mic "I'll save you!", and literally fly in to kill the enemy and revive your friend. "Here I come to save the daaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!"
I also know Vanguards can do the same to stagger a Banshee who is insta-killing a teammate. I... need a little more practice with the get-away, since I WAS able to save a teammate from being insta-killed... but she dropped him only to immediately scoop me up instead. Oops.
The other thing that put me in a good mood was getting a biotic buddy. The new friend I met in the room tonight was the only one without a mic, but we managed to create a synergy. After he'd leveled up his Geth Engineer, he switched to an Asari Adept. I didn't quite make the connection at first, me still being inexperienced as a Vanguard, but after the first two waves, I noticed him purposely casting Warp on enemies he noticed I had in my line of sight for a charge. Once I made the connection that my Biotic Charge would detonate his Warps, I told him over the mic that I was officially gluing myself to him and I'd happily detonate anything he made glow blue. LOL
We stuck together and tag-teamed the whole map the rest of the match. It was a glorious, explosion-filled fun-fest.

There I was, fending off some Geth alone after my teammates logged out... and a ****ing Banshee screams picks me up from behind for some stabby-stabby. Such an... unexpected surprise.
So today's Honourary Fistbump Up The Butt goes to that goddamn Banshee. >.>

I need to learn to pay attention to the Operation weekends. My scheduele usually prevents me from playing those specific weekends so I don't normally care. But now I played a round and apparently the Operation is still going.

There definitely seems to be some confusion, Creepter. The official blog said the operation weekend ended at 5pm PST (which I believe is -8 GMT), but lots of folks have been reporting this morning (you included) that there are still random Banshees appearing. Weirdness...
I had another fistbump moment last night that was glorious!
Saw a few of my good buddies hop on last night as I was finishing up leveling my final class for promotion (I had set a personal goal of promoting all six classes, so I had everything else promoted back to Level 1 except for my Infiltrator). They helped me finish leveling my Geth Infiltrator on Silver, I promoted him, then asked if they cared if I rolled with a Level 1, as that was now all I had in any of my classes (I knew they wouldn't mind). They were down with it, so I FINALLY returned to my beloved Turian Sentinel... I had missed him dearly from the time I took leveling all those other classes. LOL
I did not think I would do well with a Level 1 on Silver. And I didn't point-wise... last on scoreboard for the two matches I played with him. But I only died once in one match and not at all in the other, so felt good about that.
But the fistbump moment came in the final match of the night. I'll be honest... I was operating on many, many beers by that point, so I'm not even fully sure I remember the enemy. I *think* it was geth on White, but it may have been Cerberus. Or Reapers. Hell, I really don't recall. All I remember is my good Engineer buddy went down in the camping room... we weren't camping, but had been running around as a group killing stuff. I just don't know what that room is actually called, but I'm sure everyone knows what room I'm talking about on White when I say "camping room".
So, anyway, she went down there surrounded by enemies. I really do think it was geth, because I think it was a small hoard of troopers, hunters, and pyros. It was a BAD situation. I should have either used a rocket to clear her body for revival or just left and finished the wave with three people.
But I couldn't do that. Not to my good friend. I called out, "Hold on, Jess, I'm coming for you!" and she says back over the mic, "No, don't worry about it. Really. I'm covered by too many." I didn't listen. I was a drunk Turian Sentinel, dammit. And I was running on an emotional high at having my most comfortable character back, so my own sense of ability was very inflated at the moment. So, I did the unthinkable. I made a Krogan-like charge at her body. I ran forward, literally making a war cry over the mic, and melee-melee-heavy meleed with my dual omniblades. And in my drunken rampage, I somehow managed to clear her body of the enemy enough that a fellow teammate dashed in to revive her while I finished mopping up the mob. And I didn't even go down in the process.
It. Was. GLORIOUS!
And my friend was all speechless for a moment and then just said, "Uh, wow. That was impressive!"
Loved it. *fistbump for great justice*

You're getting a fistbump for saying " I was a drunk Turian Sentinel, dammit."
Sometimes, if your heart is pure and your brain is drunk you can achieve multi-palyer greatness

The running joke for the rest of the match after that was PUNCH ALL THE THINGS!!!
Because it was totally something a Krogan would do, not a Turian. LOL The rest of the group had a lot of fun with that.
But yeah, I am rather fond of my drunk Turian Sentinel. Hee hee hee...
