I hadn't saved up a lot of credits for the new dlc, only about 600k, and I didn't get any new characters at first in the PSPs I bought, but 200k and 2 more PSPs further I unlocked the N7 Shadow, the one thing I had really been looking forward to in the Earth dlc. So I guess the odds were in my favor today!

Saved some credits for the Earth DLC. It wasn't much, only about 900,000. Bought a some PSPs, and got the Shadow and the Slayer! Wow! I didn't think I'd get lucky. And now I know the joys of Shadow Striking and Electric slashing... The Slayer is also fun, though I haven't gotten the hang of him, yet...
Also, Paladin. I get warm fuzzies when I use my shield, and my team mates take advantage, and begins to obliterate the enemies in front of me... Doesn't happen often, but I feel like such a protector when it does.

Players who know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away, know when to run. They won't be counting their money, when they're sitting at the table. There'll time enough for counting when the missions done.
So pretty much smart players who know where and when they should stick to cover or come out and put the hurt on. Forgive the obscure Kenny Rogers inspiration (The Gambler). I heard that song on the radio and immediately thought of the MP. I had been out of town for ten days and was getting a bit of withdrawal. All better now though!

I can't remember what page my old post was on. And I forgot what I said too lol.
Anyway. Someone had to bump this. Nice to have a good game and good mood. Sadly many matches are bad, and more missile glitchers are spreading! Screw them.

I was playing with some random players (they had mic) Cerberus gold and during the extraction one of my team mates got downed other side of a map (The guy said: "I'm sorry guys, I can't make it"), another two guys were with me on extraction zone and it was like 27 seconds to dust off and they were not even going to try revive him, so I start running, there were not much enemies other side of the map because everyone were around the extraction zone, so I revive him and both of us start run like mads, then it's like 4 seconds and we jump to extraction zone and we get full extraction.
Then in lobby the player I saved says:" I can't believe he came for me, he is such team player" feeled like some kind of war movie...

Broadside Weekend wasn't a complete failure, in my case. I now have a few good men and women in my friends list whom I can count on, or who call on me when they want to do multiplayer.

When I'm down and I see all three players running to revive me...just gives me a warm feeling inside.

Playing with another Adept who actually works with you to create biotic explosions rather than trying to create them all on their own.

Paladin embodies this. Take up a stance and block enemy fire while someone holds objective.

Playing Bronze with my hubby and some randoms the other day. I had an Ex-Cerberus Adept at Reactor/Geth and at extraction wave, I went to the end where 99% of the enemies come from, shouted "You! Shall Not! Pass!", and proceeded to SMASHSMASHSMASHSMASHSMASH All The Things.
Was awesome.
I cannot wait to unlock the Paladin and do more awesome support-player stuff!

When I'm disarming an objective and a Paladin puts his shield in front of me.
(happened today in fact. I said thank you)
Sadly, he later got disconnected.

When a paladin stop enemies from shooting you while you're doing an objective.

I save cloaks as INF mostly for revives. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Yeah, some cheesy part of me just loves slamming that omni shield down in an unspoken declaration of "Nothing is going to hurt you, right now." Fun class!

When you die under turret, your buddies run to you, Paladin covers you with his shield from it while the other buddy revives you. Feels awesome.

And we're back to a weekend I can't participate in. Joy.
Seeing how rarely I get the chance to actually play these days, this topic doesn't feel like my baby anymore. I estimate that it's been like seven months since my last play, more or less.
At least there are people who keep it alive by sharing their awesome teamwork stories. This fistbump is for all of you.

What puts me in a good mood are operation weekends where I feel I really, personally help out. Like this last one, where people needed an Earth character in their squad in order to get commendation packs. I equipped my Destroyer and bounced from bronze lobby to bronze lobby, helping both squad and community goals with the fastest, fullest extractions possible.
The first bronze room I entered that Friday? Three players, all N7 level only in double digits, all three playing regular human males (two soldiers, one engineer). And in I rolled with my Destroyer. They immediately all readied up, as if they couldn't believe their good fortune that their fourth player was an Earth character. I smiled from ear to ear on that one. Also, full extraction for them. Felt good, man.
