A friend of mine's brother recently started playing ME mp and it's fun running around with him. He gets so excited, it's pretty cool. His first experience of a banshee hug was hysterical. My friend and I saw her coming, so we just sat back and watched the fun

All my friends were either already in full rooms at the moment or playing other games (on an operation weekend, for shame!), so I searched for a quick U/U/S PUG to warm up before searching for Golds afterwards. I landed in a room with a very new Human Male Soldier, and a pair of fairly experienced-looking guys with mics running a Human Male Infiltrator and a Salarian Engineer. As the game was starting, I grabbed my mic and fired it up as well, since I'd seen the other two with mics.
We started playing, and I just kind of hung back chilling out a bit. Because the Human Male Soldier was N7 20 in a Silver room, I was tagging along with him and Overloading enemies so he'd have an easier time finishing them off, and reviving him when he went down. Doing my helper/teacher thing that I am fond of doing for the new ones. I was at the bottom of the scoreboard doing this, since I was getting assists rather than kills, but I didn't care at the time.
The two with mics started talking about the new DLC and such, and it was obvious the two knew each other. I chimed in when one of them asked what time it was releasing on Tuesday, and they asked which person I was, the soldier or the Turian (since I had not had my mic on in the lobby, they obviously had no clue which of us it might be). I answered that I was the Turian.
I was then shocked to hear what came out of one of their mouths next. A small diatribe about how much Turians suck, they die all the time because they can't dodge/roll (this is such a poor, poor excuse, people, quit complaining about it!!!), they have an awful skill set (say what???), and that's why nobody ever plays them, that's why you never see any Turian Soldiers or Sentinels in lobbies.
Oh. No. He. Just. Didn't.
"You humans are all racist."
So, I apologize, Mr. N7 20 Human Male Soldier, for abandoning my quest to aid you through that Silver match. But my Turian honor had just been disparaged, and it was time for a reckoning.
I then proceeded to go into complete and total Beast Rambo Mode. Because, yes, I was mad. In retrospect, I almost feel bad for Cerberus because they probably did not quite deserve the sheer amount of brutality I gave them, but since there is no friendly fire, I couldn't just go punch the human and Salarian in the face and I needed to take it out on somebody, dammit.
Ended up being the absolute perfect "I'll show you" kind of match, though. They freaked out every time a Phantom appeared, and I'd walk over and take care of the problem like it was just another day at the office. On Wave 7 or 8, everybody went down on Phantoms' swords, so I went on to solo the wave one enemy at a time. Once that was done and they all arose from the dead, I said, "Yup, Turians really do suck, don't they? Completely worthless."
A stammering "That's not what we said" comes back at me.
Yeah. Uh-huh. Whatever. I know what I heard, too late to backpedal now. Kinda hard to backpedal with your foot shoved in your mouth anyway, isn't it?
Went on to complete the match, totally devastating the scoreboard compared to them. Extracted with a big smile on my face. And as soon as we got back in the lobby, with those two deathly quiet after the thrashing, I quietly left. I didn't need to say anything else. My performance spoke for me. THAT put me in a good mood.
5 minutes later, I got a friend request from one of them. Laughed my butt off.
@ Creepter: Sorry I had to break your heart yesterday.

Made my N7 Shadow look like a Phantom while playing against Cerberus. Used the glitch to make the missile launcher invisible. Waited for said player to get to one of the objectives.
Started swinging my sword at him.

A silent fistbump of respect for Meatball, the adoreable little volus that played some rounds with me and Dragon but got disconnected at the end of a gold game.
RIP Meatball.
*fistbumps*
Broke my heart that happened. If only his connection had lasted literally 10-15 seconds longer.... *silent fistbump*
Also, walking proof that N7 rank really doesn't matter (though most of us know that). Dude was playing a fragile Volus on Hazard Reactor/Collector/Gold and ROCKED IT... and was only N7 60.
Wow...
Also, things that put me in a good mood include awesome and talented developers who give us fabulous DLC. *fistbumps to entire BioWare MP development team*
Good mood also brought to you by Turian Havoc Airlines. He gives me wings.
And a consoling *fistbump* to my poor Drunk Turian Sentinel, who is probably off getting even more drunk and sulking because he now actually has to share seat time with Mr. Havoc. LOL

When we're playing one of the higher difficulties and I'm running towards one of the 'kneel down and use a laptop' objectives with my Engineer who doesn't really have much brutish firepower or a HP... and an Asari runs up next to me, slams up a force field around me. Or a Krogan running up to serve as my meat shield while I finnish the objective and the proceeds to follow me to the next objective as protection.
That just puts me in a good mood. It feels like we're in a buddy cop movie.
You all deserve a cheer.
*fistbumps*
i always use my kroguard as a meatsheild, make me feel good lol

I thought my connection must be timing out or something. Anyway, the drone started attacking at the same time the objective was completed and it all fell into place. I joined my team rather sheepishly, wishing my character would keep his head down and just blend in. I got meleed a lot, not sure if it was out of anger, or amusement.
Anything like this happened to the rest of you?

Any good stories from the current Operation?
Yep, big thanks to Anton77 for pulling together a squad at short notice to help me complete the operation. I only had about an hour to play all weekend, so would have missed it otherwise.
I like to think of it as good karma for me helping out a guy on a previous operation. He only has a low N7, but played extremely well. We both chose Asari and rocked a duo on Glacier, exploding things all over the place, and sticking together the entire time. Good times.

I have all ways prefer to do my weekend Operation with friends.
It make that Promotional weapon mean more to me even though its a Eagle our Crusader and even better if its a Herricane our Valiant.
I Hold these weapon's with even more pride a kind of loyalty gun per se.

I was playing my Brogan Soldier on Firebase Condor about an hour ago. To my delight I see a little meatball running around and I happily tag along with him. I stick with him and give him cover. I take up a defensive position and he runs to poke at the devices during assignments. I got his back and he supports me.
In one of the later rounds, we get seperated. He ends up by the cliff, by the supplies. One cerberus jerk shoots him down and is about to execute him. Feeling the Brogan rage inside me, I rush towards them and heavy melees the bastard, sending him flying over the edge and into burning wreckage far below. Then I revive my little meatball buddy.
Because you don't **** with a volus if he has a Brogan bodyguard. That Cerberus goon learned that the hard way!
