Another awesomeness that made me happy was a gold match yesterday, when I was using my main account. I was thrown in the middle of wave 2... and there was Drell Vanguard... and he was killing everything! Wow, that match wasn't as hard as I expected! And he didn't mind my suckishness! He was just happy we all tried!

Aww, this makers me feel fuzzy, too! People offering help! Let me just figure out what EST means after I am finished with my classes later... And I'm actually doing awesome with my Katana (to my infinite surprise)! Although I found that people are less likely to leave if I use my main account with the same exact set up (with level I consumables and no gear)... It makes a fun social experiment! I shall later try joining other people's games, and see if they will kick my N7 64 account!

Melee parties . Or when i am owning and everyone follows me around like a mini squad leader, or turn around and wait for me before running off to an objective.

Or a team who goes out of their way to look out for each other

That would mean Eastern Standard Time, also known as GMT-5. I'm on the East Coast of the U.S.A., so I'm usually on between 6-8pm my time (EST) on weeknights and anytime late morning/afternoon/evening on weekends (so, anytime between 10am - 8pm EST I might be on).

I mentioned it as a way to know we'd possibly be gaming around the same time of day.

That rocket splash damage makes me avoid meat shields like the plague in gold/plat. Love my krogan/whatever tanks but they can afford to take rockets to the face, it just kills my squishy GI even when I am not even the target. It's okay, I generally do well on my own with infiltrators, even when the AI seems to always know where I am regardless of my cloak.

I love using Drell speed to be like some sort of objective Ninja. In my head I say "I AM CREDIT TO TEAM" in my best Heavy voice. I also love throwing the Justicar shield.

There should really be a forum banner for those that support playing the objective. I advocate calling it "The PTFO Squad" (I'll let you figure out what the F means).

When you have 50 seconds left on the extraction timer and one of your teammates goes down on the other side of the map. And you run over to them pick them up and escort them to the extraction point for a full extraction bonus and after the match they send you a message thanking you for picking them up.

What I find interesting is - according to my own MP experience - when there is voice communication or just friendly chatter between players over their microphone it seems to lead to a more natural co-operative play.

But when I play on completely silent matches (I.E. no one talks, ever) then players seem to be more concerned about their own survival than the team's, so they usually do their own stuff and only do co-operation when forced to do so or during a Hacking mission (not always during Escort missions, even then some just keep running around while maybe just one or two escort the drone).

It shouldn't depend that much on communication, however. It should be common sense to just play cooperatively in a cooperation-based MP mode and the only one we have at that.

You know, there is nothing quite like making a friend over the forums, talking with them about lots of stuff... but then finally getting the chance to play with each other in-game.

That is a great feeling. Has most definitely put me in a very good mood.

Combat mainly. You don't play ME1 in the same way you play ME3's multiplayer.

What put me in a good mood tonight was a little unexpected e-peen stroking.

Got an invite into a friend's room while I was preoccupied. Once unpreoccupied, I accepted the invite, expecting to either drop into the lobby and gear up or get a "game is full" message. Instead, my good 'ol Turian Sentinel got dropped into the middle of Wave 3 of a Gold Collectors match, with no equipment save for my Stronghold Gear.

Despite that, I still came in second place with 97,000 points and not that far back from first. Having equipped no ammo, armor, or weapon equipment. I've pretty much never gone "naked" into a Gold match before, so I felt pretty darn good about that. The others even commented on it around the same time I did. Heck, I was just surprised by my performance with no equipment and it was actually my friend who made the point about me missing the first 2 1/2 waves worth of points, haha!

Got to admit, I preened my feathers a bit after that one.
