What puts me in a good mood is demolishing the Geth and Collectors on silver or gold. It's even better when I fight the Geth with my Geth Engineer with the GPR and the GPSMG and troll them.

If she wasn't reguarly contributing with awesome stories I doubt the topic would've lived for as long as it has.

Sad news: It appears that my PS3 is about to die. I have to perform a ritual with human sacrifice just to get it started and then pray that it doesn't decide to freeze or whatnot.

Played some U/U/G last night. Collectors/Giant comes up. Extraction wave, the team stays together and heads away from the LZ like pros, but when the time comes to scramble out, two of us drop almost instantly from Scion fire. One guy, a Destroyer, walks out into the courtyard with his Typhoon and unleashes a hail of lead and grenades at anything coming near us, while the GI rezzes me and the other guy. We push to the LZ, and the GI gets another two rezzes in that frantic 30 seconds. He got his last one about 5 seconds before the shuttle arrived. It was like a damn movie. Me and the Destroyer were holding off a tide of collectors, GI's picking the dude up and he says "We're all going home together!" There were giggles about that well into the next match.

It always puts me in a good mood when the team works together and don't give a damn about the score in the end.

Something that makes me feel heroic is charging in with my krogan and knocking away a mook and saving my downed teammate from getting stomped. And there's always that feeling of galactic unity when the Krogan picks up a Turian or Salarian. Should be a poster image of that. A pile of dead reapers and a krogan grabbing a turains hand pulling him up (or vice-versa) with palaven in the background with it's big orange spot.

That as well as dodging back and forth rapidly, spamming powers to shake each others' screens and engaging in light melee brawls.

What, volus now how something similar to brofists?
That'd be awesome. My normal volus party trick is running laps around players. Or rather, one player. But no one this topic is familiar with. At all.
A volus fistbump would be awesome.

When we're playing one of the higher difficulties and I'm running towards one of the 'kneel down and use a laptop' objectives with my Engineer who doesn't really have much brutish firepower or a HP... and an Asari runs up next to me, slams up a force field around me. Or a Krogan running up to serve as my meat shield while I finnish the objective and the proceeds to follow me to the next objective as protection.

That just puts me in a good mood. It feels like we're in a buddy cop movie.

I was playing around with the Justicar and I can confirm that doing this makes me feel awesome. It's the same feeling I get when I lay down a supply pylon on a hack point as the Demogirl.

Erhm, no, just no. The Omni capasitor is way too important on the Volus, and besides it removes your shield bubble.

I had a serious of cool games myself on Gold with randoms ... felt really good.

Juggernauts and that cheerful-sounding humming noise they make when they sync kill things puts me in a good mood. Seeing a Jugg melee a phantom to strip its barriers and then a GI javelin head-shot said phantom put me in a good mood during a PC match yesterday.

Suffice to say, the Juggernaut puts me in a good mood.

The new Batarian Gauntlet gear that came out with Reckoning. You can equip it on any character and it gives them the Batarian's brofist. BroJo played a Volus Vanguard with it during one of the games on the livestream and it was hilarity... led to a ration of copycat behavior.

But played the support role, followed my guys around while they took on enemies, constantly regenerating their shields, cloaking to revive, setting up Recon Mines in choke areas, detonating the mines when a teammate would get overwhelmed, set a Proxy Mine in a chokepoint, all of that. I must’ve been doing alright, because the few times I got downed, EVERYONE rushed to my aid! Awesomesauce! It was an easy Gold round, I think we finished in less than 25 minutes. Good stuff! I wanted to pat my little Volus on the helmet!

I have a big request.
Right now it looks as if my PS3 is well beyond saving. It's dying on me and I can't buy another one until the next paycheck (which, funnily enough, is the first paycheck).

So I ask everyone to do one thing for me, to keep my spirits high in my time of mourning and absence:
Murder every goddamn thing you can see in the game. Shoot it until it drops, then shoot it again.

I'm looking at you, Dragon. Shoot all the things.
