My Graal Spike Thrower just hit X, which is nice, because I'm using it and liking it. Buying mostly Spectre and Premium Spectre packs. That makes me wonder, if random is completely random, or there is some factor based on your weapon choice. Which weapon you got to X first and does it fit your playstyle?

I bought a lot of recruit pack initially for consumables, so it was the predator, avenger or mantis (happened really close together so I can't remember which came first).

avenger as mainly bought the recruit pack, but sadly that now means im pretty much stuck on bronze as its pretty usless on silver or gold, takes me ages to save up for the premium packs and never seem to get any weapons that suit my play style

And I don't even like it.
But after that I burned a lot of credits during the final hours of the prem. spec. pack and got the Geth SMG to X, that one, I love.

Pick some non weapon based class and play some silver then. Human sentinel is basic, so you must have it, and Throw/Warp playstyle is very effective, if somewhat boring.

Mantis. Which was really nice, I usually play infiltrator.

I spammed recruit packs until I maxed all basic guns and mods.

Well technically first was one of the starter weapons, but I'm not sure which. But since common ones don't really count, the first was Widow. I use it on my Quarian Infiltrator, mainly for Geth Gold farming.

Dunno, one of the basic guns. I had a point where I spammed out recruit packs to max out the basic mods and such, since having all the basic mods at V makes for a nice bonus to the effectiveness of every gun in the game.

I like the Katana X. I used it all of the time on my vanguards, until I got the Disciple X.

The Katana was my first weapon to X out, too.

Which was great because I LOVE shotgun Infiltrator's style.
