...? What questions does this answer...? Nothing significant.

Sony's at Fault here

I beg to differ; both Bioware and M$ are at fault.

Tbh, I don't really give a damn about just whose fault it is, but what I do what to know is the following:

Why the hell wasn't this problem sorted out BEFORE the game was released? Last time I checked, We knew about the MP weekend events several months before the game came out - that's more than enough time to get things sorted out

How long is this going to take to fix? ME3 lost all replay value for me because of it's bad, broken promise endings, and right now, the promise of some good MP events has all that's stopped me from selling my copy. If this takes much longer, then my copy is going,

Also, people might want to have a little look at this convo I had with Chris Priestly - it seems Bioware and EA originally planned to charge us for the Resurenge and Extended Cut DLC

Thanks for that. In all honesty, however, it lacks any real credibility considering it just states what we already know and then mentions Sony are working on a fix without providing a link to lend the statement any weight.

That's the same crap we've heard from Bioware for over a month, only this time from Sony. It might as well be nothing.

I want to know why this happened in the first place. How could it not be sorted before release like it should have been?

i think its because bioware called them out publicly and now sony has to do something now that they been called out to show that they are working with them the entire time instead of being arses to bioware.

Fun is not allowed for PS3 gamers; we are due only anguish and despair.

Chris. Any news on what will be done about the missed operations? Love the fact that you still responded to these people, perhaps they might consider their choice of words online.

At least now they will be doing the n7 missions every other week. We won't miss AS much, but we are still out of the community events. Ah well, back to skyrim...

Jebus in a jumpsuit! It's not like it's rocket science. Sony and EA should just kiss and make up already. How can it be so complicated to get something working on PS3 that works on PC and 360?

And by negotiations continue, you mean you sit around planning the weekend events to Xbox 360 and, PC, your blatant bias is disgusting, and, thank christ you're losing fans due to it.

It simply cannot be Sony just being hard headed and difficult, given their relationship with other EA studios this generation. It just isn't possible.

I feel EA just wants more information than Sony will give them. I actually have to give credit to Sony on this for sticking up for protecting their players information. That's my theory at least. EA wants marketing data, Sony doesn't want to out anyone at risk for another hack situation anyone, so they are just working stuff out with what they will and will not provide. Stuff takes time. For now I am just enjoying the game is on the ps3 at all. It's still fun to play, even if we have to work a bit harder to unlock everything.

Here's what I don't understand: Bioware have repeatedly told us what Sony won't do, but nothing about what Bioware can do themselves. Instead of simply placing blame, why not be solution oriented and come up with alternatives? Unless someone shows me evidence to the contrary I refuse to believe there is NO other way we can earn this content.

There IS a way: Once all the events are over, and PS3 players miss all chances to unlock these things, they'll probably be offered as DLC. Which we'll be expected to pay for.
