Five weeks does seem a touch longer than I would normally think the strong feelings should last (at least as it relates to not being able to play any games), but then again, the ending truly is that repugnant. :-)

Hopefully time and/or the extended cut allows you to either enjoy the series once more or to move on from it completely.

I wouldn't call them whiners, but average internet overreactors instead. Every forum has them, and most of the time it is the hardcore fans.

Also, I've enjoyed playing other games as well as mass effect 3's multiplayer and mass effect 1 and 2 on a renegade campaign.

I played skyrim, started a new game and am focusing on being a theif with some magic and figting talent. But than I started a renegade campaign and am enjoying it whole heartedly. Also playing as a batarian is fun.

Sorry if those last parts gave you ME3 flashbacks, what with the ppsd your going through.

Completed it a total of three times. The first was a new character, the second was as an Infiltrator with my paragon import and the third was importing that character back into ME3 and getting the two Insanity achievments.

I'm thinking of waiting until all of the DLC has been released for ME3 before playing a Mass Effect game again.

doing my first replay right now, feel like **** doing it though and I keep picking up on so many story flaws that are driving me nuts now. But I'm determined to get my insanity achievement.

It has all been about multiplayer since I finished the game.. it keeps the disc on the tray otherwise... you know... straight to the void aka' dark dusty shelves.

I haven't touched it since I finished it on the 8th of March... not really mad or sad at this point. I just stopped caring. I have a small amount of hope for the EC, but it's definitely minute. If Bioware somehow manages to make the ending better/awesome I'll be shocked.
