About the same. Horrifically bad ending to an overall great trilogy. Wondering who in Bioware truly believed that people would like the ending, or, even worse, if they always knew the ending sucked and had intentionally planned on making the Extended Cut paid DLC originally.

Trust in Bioware very low at the moment.

The only thing(s) I truly hated about the ending are: Quasi-Saddness at no Blue Babies, Mr. Shields and No Harbinger Interaction*

*Well no OBVIOUS Harbinger interaction. @IT

So yeah, a couple weeks since I PWNZ TEH REAPERZ! and I'm feeling just fine. Can't wait for more... well just more.

i've been wanting to start another play through. Though part of me wants to wait until the extended cut to see if anything is fixed.

The more time that passes, the more frustrated I become...which is surprising because it usually works the other way. Might have something to do with frequently this board lol.

I'm feeling a heck of a lot better than I did way back when, heck I even managed a second playthrough with my femshep.

I'm sort of refusing to let myself get too down on the entire thing until I know what the EC brings to the table and how the endings are going to stand.

If the EC sucks though, i'm back to square one.. But maybe even a bit worse because I will know that there isn't a cat-in-hells chance of it getting two dlc packs dedicated to it and that it will forever be how Shepards journey ended.

I'm currently doing a second play through, as well as enjoying it, and not looking forward to face that utterly depressing and incoherent end again.

I get by through envisioning the changes I will make once in about 15 years when I get the money and influence to redo the series, and do ME3 right. :D

ME3 has almost completely killed any desire to play any video game ever again. I tried to play ME3 again, I got about as far as Sur'Kesh before I just gave up and retired ME3 to my shelf of games. As for other games, I haven't been able to play any other game for any longer than 5 minutes. It is a pity that Bioware does not really understand just how much potential ME3 had to be the best game ever created and how 'Soul Destroying' the final product turned out to be.

my arse is still sore from the thrashing and unrelenting pain that the mass effect 3 endings forced upon me.

It's getting harder to play each day. It's also pretty sad when a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon is more fun and satisfying.

I feel like playing more Witcher 2 especially since it was just updated with 5 hours of new content for the end.

5 hours?!?! Gee, I doubt the ME3 extended cut will even be half that :pinched:

Half that?  I'm expecting 5-10 minutes of cutscenes.  I would be shocked if there is as much as an hour of new content.

I'll never be able to play the trilogy ever again unfortunatley if they don't give a new ending

I just don't feel like replaying it (especially compared to ME2 which kept me occupied for almost a year on and off... ) but the multiplayer has kept me sated for now.

Pretty good, at the moment. Still hate the ending, but replaying the Assassin's Creed series until further word on this edition pops up. I'm also thinking about buying the Witcher 2 in the next few days.

Bla bla ending is bad yea we've heard it for the billionth time now.

It doesn't ruin the franchise and it certainly doesn't make the game enjoyable to play through a 2nd or 3rd time...

I know this sounds exaggerated to some, but I can relate to this.

When a new sci-fi setting establishes itself and catches your interest, you invest yourself in the story on the premise that it's a story worth following through. Contrary to the oft repeated mantra that it's about the journey rather than the conclusion, it really quite is about the conclusion.

What happened to Mass Effect is akin to getting on a flight to a really exotic holiday resort with an amazing crowd of people. You can't wait to see what things are going to be like. On the journey over you talk and chat and get to know everyone, but then once you're there you can't wait to hook up with that girl three rows in front of you, or go jetskiing with your friends because you've been placing bets on who would win a race.

But then right before the plane lands, the pilot steps back in and says "sorry guys this really isn't about an exotic holiday after all. When you boarded we discovered that we really didn't have a clue as to where exactly we were going, and the plane just ran out of fuel. We're about to crash."

And then the plane crashes.

And you're the only survivor.

So by the time rescue finally shows up in the form of helicopters you're like **** that I'm never getting into anything that flies again. Worse yet, by the time you get home and you've finally recovered from the trauma, the airline calls you saying they've got a great new holiday planned, and when you tell them that the previous one didn't end up so well they are confused. "Did you not have fun on the flight before the crash? You can't discount the journey just based on how it ended."

I was in the fortunate position to get my friends copy. I usually do not do that, but rumours about ending made me suspicious. So, no I do not replay it and nor does my friend, whom I arranged a refund.

I'm on my third playthrough with no ill effects whatsover. I'm also playing SWToR for variation. The day I get as worked up over a computer game as some people here have, I'll stop playing them.

I'm feeling like it's a good time to open up an me3 spoiler forum category for non game owners like their other games do.
