On my second playthrough but the closer the end gets, the less I've been playing.

I'm fine with it. Always was. Played worse.

Although we had some disagreements in past, mostly on exploration and Mako back in ME1, I fully support last part of the statement above: definitely, I played worse.

Regarding two remaining parts of statement: well, I can't say I'm fine with it, because I had hopes ME3 will reach at least bar set by ME2 and DAO, maybe even peak coquered be ME1, but, truth be told, after demo I expected something like that.
Unlike many others, I don't think that ME3 was "perfect minus the ending". I honestly think that ME3 has more problems than any Bioware (and Obsidian) game and ending isn't biggest of them. Because I have some hopes in common sense, I think ending was either done on purpose, as red (no pun intended) herring, to draw our attention away from many numerous problems filling ME3 or, like in case with Cross of Iron ending - Coburn's improvisation, due lack of resources. But part of me resist putting Cross of Iron name here, because I like that movie and comparing it with ME3 is sort of offense for Cross of Iron. Especially after responses community received on their complains. I wasn't here during first two weeks, but that storm left significant "residue" behind.

Life, however, goes on - there is new F1 season, hockey play-off, hunting season and just couple of days ago Witcher 2 had it's Enhanced Edition, not to mention all those games I missed because I was absorbed in Shepard's story. So yeah, it's sad to see the way he went. Not only his demise, but how he was killed: Catalyst practically performed act of art - convinced his enemy to kill himself and kept his hands clean. Sort of.
[here be sad smile, but there is none, so imagine something appropriate]

hmmmmmmmz.... at this point, wouldn't it be better just to let your Shep die in the suicide in ME2? I mean, would be more satisfying knowing that she went down fighting, than letting some lil brat tell her what to do, and doom the whole galaxy :P

I haven't played the game since I found out it was not a standalone single player game - meaning I never finished it the first time. I just watched the endings on Youtube, clicked off the Start with Windows thing on Origin, and went back to Skyrim. Where I'll stay until Bioware Infinite drops.

Haven't ME touch since i finished. slowly moving on, reviving my gamecube and playing great games as Zelda and Metroid.

But I still have good hopes for the ''extended cut DLC''

I am still playing through doing a trilogy run of all 3 games ti get different out comes. I have beat ME3 5 times now and yeah. I am passed the point of being pissed off, angry and saddened that I got a kick in the nuts by BioWare/EA.

I am more just disappointed now. but yeah lol. I don't replay it for the ending. I replay it for the awesomeness of the rest of the game :)

Lost hype quite fast after seeing how the Greatest Franchise goes down the drain so fast.

Finished it once, still haven't been able to start a new game. This goes for all ME titles, not just ME3.

I'm also a fan of Fallout 3. The ending was pretty bad.

And a fan of Borderlands. Still a bad ending.

And a fan of Assassin's Creed Revelations/Brotherhood. Pretty crappy endings.

I still play them.

So what's your point?

I can't even touch the SP campaign. It's sad when other games like Star Wars Kinect is a lot more fun than this. That says how far BioWare has fallen.

Really I'm more amused by the guy who joined the fourms less than a month ago and has such great and wise insights....

OP: Actually I'm on my third play through, and just like my second play through I'll wait till my 5th or 6th beer to replay that ending though, easier to sit through then.

I've played all of those games and they've got nothing on the ME3 ending.

Lets see, 1 completed run, two more characters within a few hours of finishing ME 3, two more nearly done with ME 2, and three more in various stages of completion in ME 1 getting ready for ME 2...

All in all, still feeling pretty doggone good about ME 3. IMHO, ME 3 is enjoyable enough to want to play more characters through the whole trilogy.

That's not to say that I don't have issues with some things in ME 3, just saying that I am enjoying the game for the entire journey; to me it has always been the journey that matters.

Personally, I thought Revelations had a fantastic ending. It did a great job of concluding the Ezio/Altair storylines.
