Still pissed.
I just have accept the fact that this series is dead to me now.

Oh well, there's always that new Star Trek game that's coming out next year.

I am doing my females Shepard's play through. I do find many amazing things still in the game. Right now just started helping Tali. My male was romancing her and would not risk the bad stuff with her happening (sorry Legion)...but my fem-Shepard is a near angel and will try to do the impossible.

The ending does bother me, especially as a play the earlier stuff in this game. If the ending just payed attention to what it did before, kept it all at that level...man oh man, oh man.

If it were music...it would be like listening to the most amazing musicians coming all together in a basically perfect song...maybe the most perfect piece of music you had ever heard...and the the lead guitarist forgets what key they are playing in. You might argue that so much of that song was perfect and it shouldn't matter....but once you hear those wrong notes, its always in the way

I couldn't look at another video game after the first ending experience. Took about 4 days to play video poker. About a week later I tried the multiplayer (which is fun but hardly what they should be falling back on)...12 or so days I edged into my fem-Shep.... Call this whiners or whatever you want, but this boy was with this game since the very first one. It is just the truth. The ending bummed me out that bad. Not a success on so many levels.

still very upset and pisst about it. last week i was able to start my second play through with my renegade femshep. i just try to tell my self its about the reaction of the people, me being all renegade, trying not to think about this god awful, nonsense ending, stupid brad godchild little s*** that ruined everything.

so yeah, the wound is not healed yet.

Mainly playing the multiplayer lately, I started a new playthrough and got to the point where I was about to attack the Illusive Man and just couldn't. Because I bought Dragon Age 2, so I finished that and went back to the game and finished it though it was easier the second time around thanks to my Carnifax X. Still choose the destroy ending and still got goosebumps.

I cant even play it again after my second playthrough, its not like mass effect 1 and 2 where the events you did matter in some way, and effect the ending in some way, like in Mass Effect 2 if you dont do your friends loyalty missions they could die, or you take to long to get the the collectors base you lose certain secondary characters, the only difference I saw was instead of Krogan I got Salarian at the last battle

This is good i encourage all to keep expressing there disappointment of the ending and bioware. We keep this up, all dlc will be free. Think about it folks we haven't paid a dime yet, and the resurgence pack jst came out.If Bioware took the time to overlook there own work before putting out that mess of an ending. Peeps would be happy, and for sure a pack like resurgence would of cost us fans some coin.

Why are you mentioning ME1 there? Nothing you did earlier in ME1 changed the endgame, except for who survived Virmire.

Apart from in ME1 they actually reward you with an ending which makes sense. That suffices.

Meh... I've played the game twice and started one playthrough I didn't finish. Now I'm just waiting for the extended cut DLC, don't feel like there's any point to playing it again until the endings are better. I've pretty much moved on to other things, just lurking on the forums in case there's any news.

At first I was pissed, to say the least. But, after a while, after it all sank in, I calmed down. I took a look at the big picture and just calmed down, Hakuna Matata. In the end it wasnt about the ending anymore--especially since Ive already made my own ending. Which includes blue babies and killing Thresher Maws on Akuze--but about the journey there. From ME1 to ME3, absolutely amazing trilogy, the greatest ive ever played. And while I agree the ending should be changed, yes changed not clarified, I think im at peace with the series.

I have tried and failed to play several games since I reached the end. I just haven't had it in me. I'm getting The Witcher 2 tomorrow, hopefully that will enable me to play games again.

it kinda feels like the aftermath of a fight you had with your parents/partner you had not a while but still pretty long ago, you don't care so much about it anymore but it still is in the back of your head.

As for Mass Effect, i did a second playthrough with my infiltrator and tried to have some more playthroughs done but really didn't want that, it's kinda boring now. currently i have no plans on doing something with the mass effect series, i'm completely done.
It's back to saints row and skyrim now, respectively blowing up people and slashing them with a waraxe.

Not quite true.

You have two "endings" with save or sacrifice the Council. You then have a variation of dialogue in both of them depending on if you played paragon or renegade.

That dialogue change is a small difference to be sure but does provide feeling to the player that how they played the game mattered.

I try to keep it on my mind so I don't forget the life lessons I learned from the ending: you must be pretty arrogant to think you know better for the universe than something that has existed for millions of years; ambiguous ending forces me to introspect and makes for livelier discussion.

The ending has largely faded for me though. The only things I haven't gotten over are my failure to save Kelly and how angry Liara got with me (unrelated)...

I'm enjoying going through Fallout 3 again.

Waiting for the E.C. If it's not to my liking I'll be moving on.

Over it. Playing the multiplayer a bit. Not going to play the extended cut. And for the first time in a long while I will NOT be looking forward to the next Bioware offering. I also will not preorder it like I usually do. I'm putting my money where my mouth is.

Frustrated that the end was as it is and we still don't know what they are going to do with it. More clarifiction doesn't really cut it for me.

Astounded that as an SP only player I can't to all the endings as my EMS can't get high enough and despite a 60+ page thread on it Bioware still haven't commented or even admitted it is a problem.

Surprised that the face patch they released still doesn't work for my Femshep.

Sad because I still love the game and just want these things to be resolved.

Interested to see what the EC will bring. Currently finishing ME2 as a Renegade Adept to carry over to 3.

Still feel like **** about it. Hopefully the Witcher 2 EE and Risen 2 will fill in that void... but the smell will still be there :-(

I replayed ME3 and left it before Cerberus.

I still can't even look at my Xbox. Hope the extended cut will do it.

Amused by the EA pro-trolls applying their PR craft; definitely case study material.
