Gravemind would beat Harbinger by sheer numbers alone.

Harbinger can fly and bombard the Gravemind from lower orbit.

The Gravemind... Sits there, lazily.

Gravemind controls billions upon billions of infected organisms and dummy ships that he can just throw at Harbinger.

He can hack stuff too.  He'd probably figure out how to hack a Reaper or two.

I'd like to add something to this.

Gravemind corrupted Mendicant Bias, a Forerunner AI much more advance and intelligent then a Reaper

He could...you know, Teleport flood spores into Reapers

And do what? The Reapers are machines, not organic.

They're part organic IIRC.

the flood would ruin the reaper. they trashed the inside of High charity, a reaper would be a simple job.

The Reapers contain organic goop, they aren't organic themselves. The biomass isn't pivotal to their functions.

Also, High Charity isn't alive.

Being alive means nothing.

The flood took massive chunks out of the walls, put spores everywhere, etc.

Unless the Flood need some new wallpaper, I can't see what liquefied turian paste is good for. They can't make it into combat forms, or infection forms, or pure forms. At best, it's Gravemind filler.

You're assuming the Reapers (Which are ships built to partially house crews) don't have a countermeasure to unwanted pests getting inside them.

Reapers would of corrupted both.
Reapers are probably the main enemy in Halo 4.

I'm not sure you're using an educated guess or not but Indcotrination makes them all irrelevant.
Reapers win every time.

Please, learn about these things before making posts like this.

The Forerunner would be immune to indoctrination because of their ancilla. Their ships would absolutely murder the Reapers. As would the Halo rings, which can be used for tactical bursts as well as the galaxy annihilating ones. Plus all the AI and Sentinels and machinery that would be immune to indoctrination and hacking.

Like I told the last guy, this is a fallacy. We don't know how intelligent a Reaper really is. We know they're arrogant, but that's about it.

They sure as hell didn't show any Intelligence in their tactics.

plus, the ending makes them even more stupid

These "1 shot" ships would be made  to shot each other until the cycle is over and Reapers process all of them.

Well I don't know about the Covenant or Gravemind, but if it had've been Master Chief running at the beam he wouldn't have just stood perfectly still to get obliterated by Harbinger. He would have made it up unscathed, Cortana would have hacked Starchild, and Reapers be dead.

Fo real.

You know f*ck all about the Precursors, so that's disingenuous.

This is ultimately futile. There's no way to make a comparison.

lol, Idoctrination takes days to actually become effective.

no Precursor/Forerunner would enter one.

Stop trolling now. There is nothing like the ancilla in ME.

Well that's probably because the Reapers already dealt with it in previous cycles.

Reapers are way too cunning, just when you think you're doing what you want to do you find out you're doing what they want to do and then it is too late.

If Bioware hadn't made them dumb in ME3, there would be no game.

All they had to do was bumrush Earth while Shepard was grounded and bam, critical mission failure.

But no, Bioware decided to pull a Gandalf and make the Reapers a special kind of idiot for ME3. The kind of idiot only a bad writer can accomplish (*cough Walters).

They actually were winning quite easily. They had the Citadel and the relay network in all of a few months. It took them centuries to eradicate the protheans.

Yeah, no.

the Citadel races are not only fighting, but are actually giving the Reapers a tough fight. Indoctrination is hardly helping them.

and compared to the Forerunners? who would solo the citadel races with one ship, when they Millions of ships?

please, use your brain
