For me?  The rescue of the Normandy crew, by a living Shepard or Hackett if Shep is gone.  The crew being lost is easily my greatest disappointment, personally.  A different version to please everyone would be a "reunite" scene, either with the Earth Hammer team LIs (Miranda, Jack, etc) or the LI from the Normandy meeting Shep at a bar or spaceport, just showing that they/everyone made their way back to each other.  Just a scene that shows Shep and LI can have a "maybe happy ever after" type of ending for their work.

If I had to choose, probably something explaining that the Starchild is manipulating/lying to you. His motivation for the Reapers is one of the major things that killed the series for me.

But that's if I had to pick one, there's plenty more that desperately needs to be fixed

Scene? I'd remove a scene. Shepard dies at the control panel.

ive reached the point where i dont really care about all the plot holes and whatnot anymore, as long as the EC provides a satisfying reunion with Shep and LI, i will be satisfied

Yea, I'd like to see Shepard meeting up with his squadmates too. Also, maybe what happens to the rest of the galaxy and how each race is recovering.

I'd be just fine with IT. I don't believe or disbelieve in it at this point. But if the dev team goes that direction, and takes credit. then fine. I'll bite. Just give me Shepard welcomed back to the Normandy, and the decision of the crew to go "that away," into the great space beyond. Or just Shep and Liara. Fine with me.

You know, I actually thought that the devs would end the game with Shep and her/his LI taking the Normandy into the Great Beyond, in search of the ominous ??? that they encounter while defeating the Reapers. Or maybe the "Reaper Hive Mind, which exists in XXXX nexus, beyond the Great Beyond." Shep, LI, and Normandy FTL into legend.

But they didn't do that. So the above wish is mine for the DLC.

Validate IT. One short scene at the end with Harbinger looming over Shepard, proclaiming that now the real war can begin.

And then a promo for a major expansion pack or even Mass Effect 4.

The best possible scene would be one where Shepard wakes up in a back alley on Omega and realizes that all of ME3 was a drug-induced hallucination from the bar tender trying to poison him.

I'd like to have seen Shepard step out of Normandy @ the end with his crew after a dramatic pause much like ME1 when it was feared he was crushed by reaper debris. Now that would have been some welcome and heart-warming speculation even if we didn't know how they got there.

 It shows a house on Rannoch. Shepard is in the shower complaining about "decontamination". Off camera Tali explains how only she is immune to him so far so it wouldn't be fair on the others. She speaks in a clear voice. The camera pans across and I see Tali's face smiling, fully rendered. Shepard smiles back and then calls to Joker giving him permission to leave the system as my Shepard has decided he is going to stay and help Tali continue to build the house on the homeworld.

It then shows a ME1 opening style cutscene showing the Normandy passing The Perseus Veil's planets while the ME1 theme plays. The Normandy enters the mass relay and the camera moves to a head on view, the Normandy makes a relay jump straight into the camera with a FLASH. And it cuts to credits.

I know that's technically two but

Shepard does an Instant Transmission and arrives on the planet his crew is stranded on. He then teleports his crew on the Normandy to Earth.

they couldnt do it for me in one scene. I want to know what happens after I decided to control the reapers. what is that strange planet some of my crew made it to and why are they even there? did they die there? where are my ME 2 squad mates in all of this? Did Wrex and Eve ever fix Tuchanka? What did the Quarians do now that they have Rannoch back? Since Maelon is on Omega did Cerberus kill him? Did Jacob and Dr Cole get married? Did Kasumi make it off of the Citadel when Cerberus attacked? So many things I want to know. This Epilogue better damn well be narrated and 20 minutes long
