Does that even count as video game music if it didn't originate from a video game?ottifant64 wrote...

Resident Evil: Code Veronica - A Moment of Relief
Ah, Code Veronica. Had my favorite music of the series, it did. Loved the piano on Berceuse.
There's also the track "Love", or as I like to call it, "Hey, this isn't anything like I remember from the game... yeah, this is definitely diff-....there we go."
I may have loathed everything about Steve Burnside, but that music made that scene a punch to the gut.

Superbrothers Sword and Sworcery EP- Little Furnace
This little tongue-in-cheek adventure game affected me more than I thought it would, to be honest. Felt a little pretentious at first, and kinda kept feeling that way (lol), but never took itself too seriously for it to be really grating. Yet it pulled off a nice little adventure and the sad ending pretty well. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the music.

Dungeon Master - Hall of Champions
Played this game for countless hours when I was young, and I recently picked it up on EBay for 4 bucks. The entire soundtrack was some of my favorite SNES music ever. Too bad this is the only track Youtube has.
My favorite track from the game, which is apparently called "Pendulum", despite the fact that everyone seems to think it's "Scene of Pandemonium", plays on one of the lower floors. There's an arranged version of it here, but it's completely unrecognisable until the melody at 1:10 starts. (and then it quickly goes back to being unrecognisable.)This one's too upbeat, the original is quite dark and gloomy.
