Kagero: Deception II - Call of the Other Side. This game had frustrated me to no end about ten years ago, I recently restarted it a few nights ago and burned through the whole thing in 7 hours total. Huzzah for being older and wiser.

That track put in me in mind of Ocarina of Time's Fire Temple, pre-censorship. I used to have the N64 cartridge, but no longer, and when I played the gamecube version, I kept waiting for the chanting to start, wondering why it didn't... so I looked it up. Huh. I'm clueless when it comes to any religion, I just thought it was a nice track. Still do.

^that was the tune I'd always associated with Tetris... looking it up, I was surprised to find that this cartridge was quickly discontinued, only about 100000 were sold. I briefly wondered how I ended up playing this version until I remembered that 52-in-1 was quite popular around here...

Dragon's Fury - Bonus Table 6

I probably posted this elsewhere, but Dragon's Fury is easily my favorite pinball video game. As I was sifting through the Wii virtual console, I found Devil's Crush, which is the Turbo Grafx 16 original. (Dragon's Fury is a port/update for the Genesis/Mega Drive.) Looking at the preview shots, i couldn't see that much of a difference between the two games, so I quickly snapped it up.

There's a difference. Lots, actually. My biggest gripe being it didn't contain my favorite bonus table ever (and the source of that track I posted.) Once I realized this was absent, my enthusiasm dwindled. I don't think I've played it since.
