I knew this sounded like Kingdom Hearts music for a reason. Of course my guess that Yoko Shimomura composed this was correct.

Yeah she did a few DS/3ds games like Historia and the Mario and Luigi series, which I'm pretty sure goes back to the whole Super Mario RPG thing. I think some of her best music is really in that series honestly, although Kingdom Hearts is all well and good.

I didn't play it yet but I did get a chance to listen to the Mario & Luigi Dream Team soundtrack. Great stuff.
