Don't click this link, because the music you'll hear is too awesome for your puny little brain to handle.

Ys music FTW.

A classic.  Love music from fighting games.  The comments section is hilarious for that video.  Hahahaha..

Here's another classic. :)

Shepen, the comments on that video are hilarious. Don't much care for the song, though. Kind of reminds me of this song, though.

Nameless Theme

Good post, Hyperglide. The remixes don't do the original justice. I hated the HD Remix version, and the SF: IV one is even worse.

Street Fighter II was all about Balrog's Theme.

The only KoF I've ever played was '95, and when you put the game disc in a cd player, it played the soundtrack. More games should do that.

All games should do that. The only other one I found that did was Twisted Metal IV, which had this catchy number: Cirrus - Time's Running Out (Neon City) IT'S DARK!

Battle Blaze Village of Gromoor

Good gravy, Battle Blaze. Shnouzer forever. I only played it for a few weeks about 15 years ago, but this song has been knocking about in my brain ever since.

You confront the spinning robo and its cohort.

Really wish I hadn't gotten rid of my copy of Earthbound. I figured they'd re-release it on the Wii virtual console, but no...was it because of the uhh... Beatles inspired music?

I dont usually listen to video game music unless I am playing a game that can not be played muted.

Nowadays that happens with Diablo3, before that, Crysis 2.

Here's a track from Resident Evil 2 that only plays in one room, that you can only get in on the second run, AND only if you've registered both Leon and Claire's fingerprints to unlock the door. A little spooky, and at around 0:49 kinda reminds me of 999 - Trepidation

999 had some great music, like Morphogenetic Sorrow which I now have to play if I ever do a sudoku.

Enclosure (Keyboard Strings Cover) - Originally from Metal Gear Solid

I was born on the battlefield, raised on the battlefield. Gunfire, sirens and screams... they were my lullabies.

I've been listening to the entire Summoner soundtrack, I've gotta say, I'd forgotten how amazing it was. Iona is just... ear candy for me, it's a bit of a build up until it hits about the minute mark, and then at about 1:22, they bring in the theme from the encounters around the town...I just love the whole thing.

Link went wonky there for a bit, not sure why..

This made me want to get into the field of video games. Don't MUTE IT!!. If you do I will get very angry and turn red. I will be so angry, it will be similar to the burning hot intensity of a scorching fire field. The newer version is pretty great too. In this game you go as fast as lightning. It will make you move so fast you'll feel like you'll need to come up for air as you turn blue. We wouldn't want you to die and come back and haunt us as a malevolent phantom.

Maaan I love the soundtrack. I'm spent. Nahh not really but that was fun.

The halo soundtracks are some of the best in gaming, IMO.
