I found a hole in the floor on the map of Orzammar Diamond district.

Once you fall through you can't get back up and must re load.

Obviously it is not a spot well traveled, I found it completely by accident, but thought I would warn others of it as well.

I was down at Calenhad docks just now and glitch-teleported onto the sea while doing Oghren's side quest.

Although I love this game, there seems to be a LOT of bugs in it, I hope they release a patch for all 3 systems at some point to fix some of these really stupid bugs.

Kind of reminds me of Planescape: Torment. Does it teleport you to the Temple of Regrets or whatever it was called?

I love these things -- there are always some in every game I have ever played.

I'd like to reiterate @Matthew Young's question -- how much damage do your poisons and bombs and such do?

Well it's off topic a bit, but poisons do +1 per hit per tier so a tier 2 poison will have done 20 extra damage if it took you 10 hits to kill it. They have a chance to resist so the the type you use is somewhat important, same with bombs, I haven't been able to lock down what damage they do, but I say every little bit helps.

There's another in redcliffe: By the chest at the building site, you can walk off the platform and end up on the wrong side of the invisible wall...

Not the OP, but the tier 1 Acid Flask bomb does 80 nature damage to all targets within the effect (including friendly). Quite powerful considering with tier 2+ stealth you are not removed from stealth when throwing them...

While doing the proving talk to the proving master, it's quite funny. (That is while in the arena, you can run to the edge and enact a conversation w/ him.

)

I found something similar accidentally in the huge ruin where you find the Urn in the first playthrough. Somewhere on right (east?) part of the ruin. I went miles and miles in the dark.

Can't find it in my second playthrough. Seems the path is block by fallen rocks. Maybe the rocks fail to spawn in my first run.

Ah yes the obligatory hole in the world, plaguing games ever since they went full 3d in the late 90s. My favorite hole in the world was in Everquest. Fell through the world in Umbral Plains and was able to explore the zone from 20 feet below the monsters that would have otherwise turned me into mush. Ultimately found an even deeper hole that dropped me to the physical bottom of the zone and automatically ported me to the zones safe point. Ah, memories.

Just want to tell people that they can escape from the hole in the world without reloading by doing a simple trick.

Set your team to hold position setting.

Than jump to one of the teammate not in the hole and run very far away.

Than reset team to auto follow and the team port to the position of the toon that you are controlling.

Bombs are SO...underappreciated. They do way more damage than people think. Especially if you are a rogue with at least the 3rd skill of stealth. You can stay in stealth and chuck bombs all day long without drawing aggro. Each bomb 'type' (frost, electric, acid, fire, soulrot, etc...) has a different cooldown. You can just throw one after the other. It usually only takes 2-3 (on Normal) to kill a whole group of mobs. Just watch the friendly fire.

Good to know, I have been unable to see to what extent the bombs were doing in all the mayham.
The numbers flash by so fast and Pause don't pause the numbers.

Tee hee -- these are fun -- and its great because you get to see entirely different perspectives of the world! I think we should start a group/project so people can post Screenshots of "holes in the world" locations!
