Everyone is getting trolled out of their minds by this thread by an original poster whose response to "post evidence" is "Why?", whose compelling argument is "You are wrong", and who "owns a dictionary" and "knows how to use Google." Well ain't that just dandy.

As stated above, a lot of people have a frame that belies their true muscle density, and are actually a lot stronger than they look.

Also as stated above, FemShep is very slim - and yes, I felt like James Vega probably should have been able to snap her like a twig. But then again, media has never been one for realism.

Further implied above, there are lots of perfectly normal people who have arms the size of FemShep.

Now if you want to get all nitty gritty, the diagnostic criteria for Anorexia Nervosa (anorexia alone being a technical term for lack of appetite) includes:

1. Refusal to maintain a body weight <85% norm
2. Intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat
3. Disturbance in perception of own weight or shape
4. Amenorrhea (lack of periods)

This is, in fact, a psychiatric diagnosis - and since my FemShep doesn't run around the galaxy staring at the mirror and losing sleep about whether she's put on an extra pound (or count the calories everytime she shares a Serrice Ice Brandy), I don't really think she qualifies - because she's too frigging busy fighting the Reapers.

This thread is so idiotic. For one Shepards diet is never an issue and doesn't need to be. He/She is also partly synthetic in having skin/muscle/bone weave not to mention the exertion. I am skinny, but i love my meals. Stop trying to troll like this its sad at best.

I always chalked up her battle strength to her armor, kinetics, implants, stims, omnigel and/or biotics (if she's got them), along with standard physical fitness. Going toe to toe with Vega though, always bothers me.

She's mostly cybernetic anyways...so looks are deceiving. Remember in ME2 you could get enhancements that made your bones, muscles, and skin tougher...so there's that in addition to whatever cybernetics were put into her by Cerberus.

FemShep's not anorexic, but she has the body of a thin office worker - certainly not a military action hero. I agree that it'd be nice if she looked a little more the part.

I do think femshep (and default female body) is way too skinny. It looks odd to me. Way too young at best (like a wiry 12 year old) and very unhealthy at worst. (depends on the clothes and angle) I guess I can kind of see this body type for adepts or engineers since they're not under much physical strain but soldiers and vanguards would have muscle. I would expect an elite soldier to look more athletic. The equivalent would be to have manshep built like Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. Visually I wish Femshep had female Hawke's body from DA2. It's one of the best female bodies in video games in my opinion.

Women don't build muscle like men do, and either way, endurance training doesn't gain muscle mass like weight lifting does.

Personally, my Femsheps spend a lot of time in front of the mirror in the capatains bathroom.

I just wish that I could use the shower as easily as the toilet..

Are you trying to be provocative? I don't understand what it is you are trying to accomplish with this post.

Are YOU trying to be provocative? I wanted to come into the thread and agree with the OP and say "yeah, Femshep's are are a bit too skinny and weird looking" and then there's a bunch of people calling the OP a troll for no reason, which begged the question "why?"
