I don't know what kind of women you hang out with I guess, but Shepard has pretty much the same type of body as most real-life women that serve in the armed forces over here.

That is soooo debatable.

Not to me. I know skinny women. I know strong women. Shepard falls in the latter category in terms of body shape. There's no debate, in my mind - the only way Shepard is skinny is if you define anything less than 10 kilos overweight as "skinny".

If you don't agree, you just have a different definition of "types" of bodies for women than I do, so there's nothing to debate as we won't change eachother's minds

I've never played as femshep; but from youtube videos I've seen her arms seem quite literally like twigs.

OK I have arms the same proportions as femShep... so by what OP is going for here that means I'm anorexic? But I weigh around 68kg (roughly 146lbs) and am 5ft 9in so not remotely anorexic.

FemShep does have slender arms, but women tend to carry more of their general muscle mass around the hips, butt and thighs not the arms/shoulders or chest area like men can do. I will admit that they could have beefed her arms up a bit to more suit the athletic muscle build you'd expect in any kind of soldier, but they have been quite slender like that since ME1.

Imo Bioware should have made the femshep model to have some noticeable muscle. Does her punches even hurt with those spaghettis?

The female marines I've seen look pretty darn close to Shepard.

I think we're so used to looking at fat people that someone who's "average" is considered "too skinny."

...ir y'know, he just doesn't care? That, or he's just doing it to annoy you now:lol:.
But "anorexic" is kind of like "gay" now, people use it differently than intended(ie; using "gay" to mean "stupid" as in "That's gay" and using "anorexic" to just mean really skinny)

I think she is right on par with an athletic build. She looks just fine for me since I began using her way back in "07. Thin yes Built yes Anorexic no.

I agree OP.

Even in the cutscene on the citadel fun ride with garrus, when femshep holds the sniper, the one hand goes though the sniper entirely. It looks hideous ridicoulous.

(Oh and her hands looks like witch-hands btw also)

So you want her to be fat? I understand her arms could have been a little bigger, but other than that she is much better in number three than the previous games. As stated in other threads, no marine that has known nothing b ut war for 3 + years would be any means of out of shape. Not happening.

Thats what I expect the savior of the galaxy to be, hauling around guns that weigh 20lbs plus in heavy armor all day long requires a strong physique.

And yes, FemShep does have stick arms, I mean, her arms aren't much thicker then her humerus bone.
Jessica Biel looked like a capable female warrior in Blade trinity without being, fat, butch or looking like a bodybuilder.

Please. Not every woman is that "developed." And anyway, where's the consistency? "Oh, she just grew three cup sizes in six months 'cuz we felt like it."

Anyway, I liked that she didn't have a supermodel anatomy. Gave other small-breasted women around here some hope.
