Great job putting that paper together. You should send a physical copy to BW in case they decide to ignore this thread.
Yep we will be - also considering sending copies - hard or soft - to key journos who have followed the ME3 ending saga eg Forbes, Games Industry etc. Any suggestions welcomed! (No we shan't be putting it where the sun doth never shine...) ; ) Basic premise is that even if one of these picks up on it, then it's been worthwhile. Also keep tuned - there will be follow up. Just have to wait for ofish to wake up!
cheers

Wow! Cool! You should forward it somehow to someone who would actually make sure that they take this into consideration and not throwing it into the bin.
We're considering our options. Fortunately at least the electronic copies won't waste too many trees!
But any ideas - please post em here.
cheers

Outstanding! Also, what results are you expecting in ideal case, how to fix the disaster?
We get hired by Bioware with Carte Blanche on expenditure?
Seriously though - hard as it is to keep our own desires out of this - but that's what we're trying to do. The survey gives better idea of what matters to folks - speaking generally - so the next step is to try and elicit responses on what options might be. We need to keep true to the basis of what we've found in the survey results, so basically: frame the results in terms of some options for Bioware to consider. To be realistic about this, going in and demanding 'do this and do that' is not really going to cut it. But providing a clear framework based on what people want as outcomes from the process - as opposed to likes/ dislikes - is the most likely to lead to some sort of result. In other words something along the lines off: follow this principle when considering this aspect; consider this issue as critical when determing plot links; etc. Even if in the end all it means is that some extra dialogue picks up an issue, or an extra link is created to strengthen past decision threads into current end - that's a success.
We will pull together a framework ands set up follow up survey to elicit responses as to which way(s) to go, then the result of that gets written up and that's what goes to Bioware. We're trying all sorts of avenues to make sure they pick up this survey for starters, as much as a heads up as indicative of what directions are going to be identified.
And while we are absolutely committed to make this happen come what may, any support anyone can offer would be really really appreciated.
Please stay tuned - as soon as we can grab our breath we'll get the next phase happening - but time is rapidly running out. So far my marriage is holding together - not so sure about the sanity! Well, I can't actually speak for ofish .... (well I could but that would be telling!)
cheers

Good job putting this all together. All data is good data, in my line of work anyway.
