While you are not submitting this study for publication, and therefore certainly not required to go through peer-review,
its content and structure and language do resemble a scientific paper. Intended or not, many people will treat it as such. That effect warrants, if not demands, that your study be examined by others educated in statistics to
determine whether you are justified in drawing any of the conclusions presented in your paper. I am certainly not expecting you to go through the rigorous peer-review for scientific journals. These are forums, after all. Given a
reasonable amount of time, some qualified users may come forward.

If anybody wants to do a review of our work we would be glad to provide the raw data in excel files, they just need to message one of us.

I see no data regarding whether even the majority of people dissatisfied with the ending want a new one or believe a satisfactory new ending for a reasonable majority of ME3 players is possible.

The poll with 71k+ responses has 92% picking the choice "Endings sucks, we want a brighter one."  I certainly would prefer different wording as "brighter one" certainly implies that people are unhappy cause the ending is too sad, however it's still a sample of 71k people with 92% saying they want a different ending(brighter in this case).

A reasonable majority in the context of just the group of dissatisfied players or the group of all ME3 players?

Unless new claims are made that the dissatisfied population (sufficiently dissatisfied to demand action beyond the current extended ending DLC) in fact represent a majority of ME3 players or a minority significant enough to warrant BioWare's concern, I would like to leave the debate to the more apropriate circles.

Personally I don't see anything happening beyond the Extended Cut DLC.  Ensuring as many people as possible are satisfied is clearly in Bioware's best interests and hopefully this data will be of some use to them.

That Bioware is making Extended Cut DLC at all is evidence enough that a significant portion of the community is dissatisfied.

Might I suggest not having the "Quick summary section" and the "Conclusions" section not having identical information expressed in exactly the same way? Those conclusions need only be stated once in the same manner, Generally end conclusions are used to expand more fully (not bulletpoints) on any previous Summary, rather than simply copy/pasting them.

Fair point.  Appreciate you taking the time to read it so thoroughly.

Wow, guys. Excellent job. This is professional survey, usually companies have to pay to get something of similar quality.
Bioware - those people invested lots of time and effort and gave you "free DLC". It will be wise to consult it.

I remember taking a poll like this; I'm pretty sure it is the exact same one but not 100% certain. Nice to see the results anyways.

Whoa! That is a lot of data. I hope this survey will mean something to Bioware.

Yeah, they wanted to check how many people don't appreciate art!

Didn't think we'd see the data brought together like this when I took it. Nice to see it. I found some of the trends a bit surprising, honestly. I thought the destruction of the Relays would be more disliked than this survey (at least) suggests, for instance.

Nice work.

Really well done. A lot of time clearly went into this, hopefully someone from Bioware cares.
