Cannot get 'Galaxy at War' to sync with the Datapad app

I own an XBOX and activated my online pass for ME3 when I first got it. I also go the 'Infiltrator' and 'Datapad' apps and these synched just fine with my xbox profile.

However my wife also plays ME3 on the same xbox and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get her Galaxy at War stats from the game to synch up with her Datapad app.

Her origin profile has the same email as her xbox profile. However, I don't know how to tell the xbox what her origin profile is. I also have no idea how to buy an 'online pass' for her (do I need to, on the same xbox?) - it does not appear as downloadable content in the menus. 

So basically... the datapad does not work. It lets her increase her galactic readiness via fleet movements, but this has no effect on her game- likewise, playing multiplayer gives her no readiness on her app- there is a complete disconnect between the two. Likewise, the 'mail' portion of the app does not update until i can solve this problem.

I am having real trouble finding any help on this, can someone please advise?

I think you have to login to EA page, and sync the gamertag to the Origin account manually.

I haven't been able to get my Readiness to sync up with the game and the App at all...

I can't even get mine to see the internet - just keeps telling me I've no internet access when I have - really frustrating!
