Tactical Cloak, Hunter Mode, and Proximity Mine.
Essentially, it could be a great class, but there isn't a skill that would help with your sniping.
No cryo, no overload, no energy drain, not even incinerate.
Proximity mine doesn't freeze your opponent, so what kind of sniper is that?

So I heard if a class has two powers you like and one you don't you can ignore that one and max out everything else...

I'm not a big fan of the Infil's abilities. but they DO have their uses. not quite my playstyle though. so I leave that to the people that are good with them. I'll stick to the Sentinal/Adept/Engineer

Go full offense/dmg and use a claymore X with hunter mode on....only one thing comes to mind...

Me too!  I think the Salarian Infiltrator and Krogan Vanguard are two shining examples of that.

Oh, and I think being able to see enemies behind cover drastically increases the usefulness of the AP mod and ammo.  Just sayin', it's fun to pop enemies clean behind a wall and have your teammates wonder what the hell just killed them:D.

For other snipers, I don't see the point of being able to shoot through cover unless you know there's an enemy behind it.  Even then, having the head highlighted is quite an advantage that I've been abusing to all hell.

If you hadn't noticed, every new race-class has one crappy power, except GE.

The GI is the kind of sniper that does 192% damage with a sniper rifle.

The Geth Infiltrator is not supposed to be a sniper. He is awesome with shotguns and melee attacks. And proximity mine is the perfect skill to go along with this. If you want to snipe, play a Salarian with ED.

If you can aim then GI is amazing. I can't aim so I stick with caster classes...

I think of prox mine as a power they just threw in there. The other abilities seem to work together while prox mine is just on the outs.

 Cloak-4: damageProxy mine-6: radius, 20% vulnerability, damageHunter mode-6: Either, power damage, vision/speedNetworked AI-6: weapon damage, power damage, weapon damageFitness-4: health/shields.
Use the geth plasma shotgun and you can easily rock gold.

But it's not! It does impressive damage, it has crowd control, it throws away guardian shields, it debuffs targets with a lot of HP for extra damage. I seriously sat down on one of those "make your custom class" threads and thought about GI powers, and I can't throw this power away for anything. GI power set is perfect. I thought that defense matrix would be nice for restoring shields and damage protection for a fragile class, but only if we had fourth power.
